Couldn’t have said it better myself. Wish we could have seen more of him.
Wlad fought everyone, but he could be hard to watch at his worst. Sometimes wouldn’t throw a right hand for the first four rounds of a fight post Sanders. Also he missed his leaping left hook so often. Always led to an ugly headlock. Nice when it worked, but that became so rare.

It's always easy to look good against limited opposition. Would have been nice to see him test himself more.

              - - Prematurely retiring Lewie if he did nothing else was worth a HOF selection. Never seen another boxer go out with such a wimpering legacy, emasculated like all the other Vit victims, most of whom at least went out on their shields.

Lewis announced his retirement in February 2004, he was 38 years old.

                Thats premature?

                What an idiotic remark!

Really? Do I need to post the link again where he said he either wanted Vits or Roy next (while he was training for Johnson) and he would retire. He got Vits, stopped him in 6 and sailed off into the sunset as one of the o ly fighters to ever beat every man they fought professionally.
