Golota dominated both fights from start to finish. That being said, Golota is overrated because of these two fights against Bowe, and Chicken Bowe is possibly the most overrated HW ever. Just a pound shop Dillion Whyte.

I watched a ton of Golota's fights, and he was pretty exciting to watch, but ultimately, quite crap. Bowe's only wins (also lost) of note are against Holyfield when Evan had just moved up to HW and had to eat around the clock to be big enough. It was like Chisora catching Usyk straight away and winning 5 rounds against a man, who if he fought again, would lose 12-0. Cash in

Bowe was on the downside of his career when he faced Golota. Golota beating a shop worn boy isn't a indication of what he could of or would of done. Lennox Lewis, Michael Grant, David Tua, and others would of and in the case Lennox Lewis and Grant would of still knocked out Golota.

There was no Golota-Bowe fight ever, here. It's a classic Mandela effect.

Golota, Andrezj Jan, died on Feberary 25th 1978 in a boating tragedy. The Polish newspaper, Trybuna Ludu reported that the 10 year old boy's school neck scarf got caught in the boat's propeller. He was decapitated. The paper then went on to say, in reporting its future news, gathered from alternative-universe sources, that Golota would have likely become a contender for the HW boxing crown, had he survived. But of course that would never would come to be.

It is in fact, from this newspaper article that we now know Golota and Bowe never actually met in the ring, (despite our memories,) and that this article is the original cause of the 'Mandela effect' surrounding the false news regarding the purported fights.

                You're quite welcome. Anytime.

Golota battered prime Bowe twice, only to ******ly get himself DQ'd each time. Very one-sided fights. Golota was better in every department and showed Bowe for the bum he is, but he's needed to hype the 90s HW era, so it's past prime Bowe, just like past prime Mike Tyson. Very convenient era that one. Maybe Joshua was past prime for his 3 losses? Yeah, let's use that. Nash out

I think if you take out the low blows, Bowe beats him.

Bowe was sliding no doubt, but when Bowe was allowed to box he was building momentum. But each time Bowe started to find his zone Golota would hit him low (and not tactically low like Dempsey use to do) with hard shots that stopped the action.

Bowe would again slowly start to build his mojo and another low blow would stop the action.

Both DQs were necessary. The issue wasn't decided but couldn't be allowed to play out as it was.

But Bowe pulling out a decision in either fight seems to me the most likely outcome.

I think Golota needed those low blows to stay in the fight.
