Willard was six feet six and one quarter inch ..Thank you for correcting my miss- type.it's comforting to know that the slightest misstep one makes will be picked up and highlighted immediately. I can see I will have to be on my mettle on this Forum.

Never seen Willard listed as anything but six feet six or six feet six and a quarter in any book by a reputable boxing writer,[not Bert Sugar] and I've boxing books going back to the early part of the 21st century.

Primo massively taller and broader then and now. Any height he was ever measured at becomes outdated as he continues to grow because of his acromegaly condition

this is what I'm saying, the old sources under reported his height. they do / did this in basketball often as well. does willard look only 3 inches taller than Baer? he looks about 6 inches taller at the very least lol

There is a photo somewhere of Primo being measured it was six feet five and three quarters the mob than owned him said he was six feet seven just to hype him even further, Willard is listed as either six feet six or that plus a quarter inch and I accept that as his height.He is clearly six inches taller than Johnson in their photos. Baer was always listed as 6 feet two and ahalf ,just half an inch taller than Braddock which looks about right.
