Mayweather' nemeses consisted of all dangerous fighters in their primes around his weight. He would not fight them, let's face it. The man can't even get a nod on an All Time list on any boxing forum I have visited. He was so afraid of someone taking his zero that he simply would not fight those with the best chances until they were over the hill or had already been KO'd, as in the case of Pacman. He is the single man who did the most to ruin boxing. He is TBE at ruining boxing.

Just to offer a second reason why the damn zero was so important . . . $$$$$$
It's almost unfair to the fighter, fans, and the fight game, that one lousy night and they cut a zero off your next paycheck. One loss can come with way too much economic punishment.
Once you make the big time, and feel you've proven yourself, and they are paying the really big bucks, it must be hard not to want to protect that zero, with everyone around you confirming you are making the right call.

Yes, that is fine, and it is also understandable. Don't worry, he gets full credit for protecting his zero, just not for beating the best fighters when they were at their best. That's all. The man was the Meadowlark Lemon of boxing, an exhibition fighter at heart.
I don't have to prove any of this. Every boxing forum I have visited proves it for me. Despite all the money, he has a mundane legacy. It's humdrum, honey.
Fwanky started strong, but couldn't finish by his end. Let's hope his end finishes with AJ and not the Rooskies. I don't wanna say Fwanky ducking AJ, but 'tis what it is 'tis.
