I don't get the meaning of your post. Are you saying Miske isn't an ATG becuse he is not on the lists you provided?
Of course he isn't on those lists, those lists are history lite.
He is barely remembered by the casuals who make up those lists and by the casual fans whoes knowledge only comes from such lists.
Does over 70 wins not move you? Does being an original inductee in the HOF move you?
You really got a prejudicial hang up about white fighters from the color line era.
Billy Miske was an ATG; he and Dempsey packed MSG, his contemporaries thought him one, and the HOF has his picture on the wall. Sorry your self proclaimed 'expert' lists didn't keep up.
Then of course there is your opinion but when it comes to white fighters in the the color line era you're just not a good source to listen to.Comment

Duran wasn’t even close to prime and he was light years away from his natural weight class.
tyson had a good chin and got layed out by Douglas.
im not sure how we are defining atg chin here since atg chins also encompasses skills and defense even involving the roughest fighters. But we are essentially looking for someone with a great chin that gets caught with a ruthlessly intolerable punch that their willpower can’t overcome.
ill say this though, Durans chin was certainly atg - and it took thomas Hearns at 154 lbs towering over him, and a hung over unmotivated Duran. The chin was found with a shot no man would take.
if you remember though, Duran was on his feet seconds after.

And here we come to the crux of my beef, I can not stand being misunderstood after I have already clarified. No, Billy ****ing Miske was never good enough for colorline criticism to apply. I used colorline to take down Dempsey, Tunney, and Greb, because Dempsey, Tunney, and Greb are actual ATGs with little else to criticize. Billy Miske is a never-was who didn't do anything in any way special.
Which is why you see Dempsey, Greb, and Tunney all over, and we've Willie here claiming Billy was worth half a **** all on his lonesome.
Not once have I given Miske a hard time for race in any regard. You cry about race every single time I give Bill a hard time for being just Billy Miske. Pretty clear me pointing out Dempsey never fought anyone but white american christians stings yer ass, but this has **** all to do with that outside of you being so ass-stung you have to interject it anytime I criticize anyone from the period.
