Paper titlists (according to Jab) and therefore contenders only. As such many may have forgotten that these guys was never real champions:

    Vitali Klitschko
    Roy Jones Jr.
    Thomas Hearns (welter)
    Ken Norton

    and many, many more.

Exactly!!! I will say though that some held titles (paper) that were held in higher regard than the WBO.

And none of that changes the fact that Lewis was indeed the recognized champion. Do you disagree?

        - - Can't fix U DUM, but Rahman had been KOed by Tua and Maskaev before going into Lewie to promptly KO Mr Lineal for the 10 count no different than what Corrie did to Wlad.

Lewie Lineal had 5 more fights planned before retirement, instead retiring days before strippage of his last belt for not rematching Vit for a Career purse...

...on the orders of his Mommy.

Whereas Wlad with a vastly superior record to Lewie retired Blubber Fury for 3 years in his last scheduled fight. until AJ offered him first crack at his former unified title...you're welcome

He also beat Obed Sullivan, Jesse Ferguson and get this......Corrie Sanders!!! Do you see the difference yet? Sanders never bear a top 10 fighter before or after Wlad. Rahman did. Pull you head out of your azz and you may learn something.

And Wlads resume doesn't touch Lewis' in my opinion. But I'm happy to debate that to if you'd like?

            - - Corrie, Byrd, and Peter the only ones fighting both bros, but Corrie did it back to back, just like Rahman did with Lewie. U bolded were top 20 much less 10. Corrie had similar wins.

He sent back a signed Contract authored by Roy Jones that was never acted upon by Roy who gave up his WBA title, one of many top ten ducks of Corrie that included Lewis his ****** self. See, mgrs and fighters have a 100 year history of avoiding Lefties, so no shame on Corrie who is by far the best multi-sport fighter in history, and to think he did it while fighting!

He was a legend on AOL, whereas U was eating all the white paste during art timel

Rahman has Tua who he was beating before getting stopped. Sanders has Tubbs who stopped him in 2.

What upside would there have been for Roy to fight Sanders? He never beat a top 10 fighter, wasn't widely known and brought no significant payday. And none of this has anything to do with him being a titlist and not the champion as you claimed.

Sanders was a legend on AOL? is that how you define greatness?

Do you want to talk about Maskaev next and how neither Klitschko fought him even though he k owned Vits out as an amateur? There are a whole slew of fighters Vits never fought though. At least Wlad had the brass to try and fight everyone he could.

                - - U suffering long term from White Paste syndrome identified in low achieving elementary school children.

ROY sent WBO champ Corrie a contract of terms that Corrie signed and returned to Roy. Roy never activated the fight and returned to LH.

Meanwhile, the best minds on this forum have done nothing to stem U STOOPID!

                      - - Roy also sent a contract to Vander who refused the terms. He turned to TwoTonToney instead.

Corrie died in a mass restaurant shooting where he threw himself on top of his daughter to save her.

He died an heroic death and not the zero of the usual suspects always polluting the environment.
