hello everyone! i am a 14-year old fan who is just getting into boxing. i've done a decent amount of research into it, and i've compiled my opinion list of the top 50 boxers ever, ranked. please note that a lot of this is probably not going to be very good or accurate, since i'm kinda new to this. every single boxer on my list fought before i was born lol.

Welcome. It's a respectable list. All lists are subjective but you've put some effort into yours. There will always be names some fans place higher or lower on their lists, but most lists often include many of the same names.

Yup, just like Dempsey says, you'll probably never find another top ten matching your own exactly let alone a fifty, but, as far as ridiculous positions or names goes this is a fine list.

I've uploaded a text file for you to aid in research. It's the history of authorities, sanctioning bodies and the like, along with most if not all the HW champions and claimants. Starts in 686BC and ends in 2018, so, little out of date.

        Champions&Sanctioning.txt

If the upload doesn't work I can copy and paste it but it is long. Like, really long.

Names and dates, very little info, it's really a tool I made to make it easier to search for more information. A name and a date will bring up champion bios, the body stuff is a tiny bit more in depth but it's really for the same purpose, a jumping off point.

Edit- Hold up, son, what do you know about Eder Jofre? I take it back, not a fine list, it's a great list. Well ****ing done.

thank you so much for the resources. also, eder jofre was a name i had on there from the start. the only bantam who even sniffs my list to be honest. his winning the title at featherweight was what sealed the deal for me, the golden bantam had to be on here.

I've seen far worse lists for sure. A few names I'd Lea e off and a few I'd put in different places, but it's your list and as you said it is opinion. Nice work.

+1 Jab has it right. If you’re only 14 and made the list, you have a bright future here. Welcome.

I like it. Nice top 10, has a good pick for #1, that's all we could ask for. And even at 14, he still knows way more then Queenie ever will.

I don't see Mark Gastineau on your list. While some would debate wheter Gastineau belongs in the top ten of a p4p fighters, there is no top 50 list without Gastineau that can be taken seriously. You need to rethink your list.
