Soon he was just winging right hands from right field. As typical. After 3-4 rounds his legs were unsteady. All that weightlifting to build his upper body did nothing for his leg strength or endurance.

To mention this exciting but low skilled bout to Ali Frazier which some have done is a disgrace. Neither fighter possesses 10% of Ali or Frazier’s skill.
The level of ali vs frazier was def higher, they were both superior professionals to both fury and Wilder. But the hype between fury and Wilder is actually great, its up there on the all time list. If only it wasnt over shadowed by the fact that fury dominated Wilder for the majority of the trilogy. Alis banter with frazier was more just Ali picking on Frazier trying to get under his skin and intimidate him. Fury on the other hand, although agitating Wilder at times, is largely just responding to Wilders ignorant claims and it results in a great rivalry.

id never bet on Wilder stopping holmes though in any world. Holmes is tough as nails, and very slick and technical. It would be easy for him to make Wilder miss and catch him bad

For a heavyweight its certainly still young.

        - -Wilder is seriously brain damaged due to his face first style and basic lack of boxing skills even when matched vs TBA setups for the majority of his career.

What else do you need to know?

Anything can be hyped. Means absolutely nothing. Look at the hype surrounding simple sparring sessions today.

We'll see what he has left in his next fight.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out he won't be fighting a top 3 fighter. He'll probably fight Ruiz or Joyce next if they're available. Wilder is at the very worst, still the at least 3rd best heavyweight out there. He's still got some tread on his tires.

yeah 35 isnt young when you are getting wobbled 10x a fight and out on your feet. Even in your 20s that type of beating isnt good

Wilder never had the best whiskers. I remember Eric Molina rocked him pretty bad and Ortiz nearly had him out in the first fight.

                      1. AJ
                      2. Usyk
                      3. Fury
                      4. Joe Parker
                      5. Joe Joyce
                      6. Deyonce as a name now that Fury introduced him to the US market. There's actually a scramble or a jumble of contenders at this level who can beat each other randomly.
