  • Most exciting fighter to watch

Apologies if that has been done already, but who do you pick as the most exciting fighter to watch, past or present. I'm thinking of fighters who get involved in barnstorming bouts, or those that bring a lot of quality with some frailty so you are on the edge of your seat.
A couple of examples from me to get the ball rolling....
Nigel Dark Destroyer Benn, always came to fight, explosive power, suspect stamina and defence
Evander Real Deal Holyfield, took 2 to land 3, will of iron
Amir King Khan, wonderful boxer, speed and power but chinny

I'll go with Arturo Gatti. Larry Merchant used to host a show on HBO, when they still had boxing, that did current news and did a current "Gatti List", so gotta go with the namesake. I believe one show even did an all-time Gatti List and mentioned guys like Holyfield and Chavez in addition to Gatti. I still need to watch some Nigel Benn. I hear he now has a son that's doing pretty well in boxing and has his dad's punching power. Marco Antonio Barrera is another good one from earlier in his career before he started outboxing his opponents in his later fights, like Hamed.

I'm really into Aaron Pryor right now so I'll mention him but really I think the "rocky moment" is the most exciting in boxing and anyone can bring that. Being behind, all hope is lost, then a rally and an emphatic win....that's why they write franchises around it, that's the shiz.

Danny Little Red Lopez - a featherweight with knock out power and almost no defense. Always a great effort; always an exciting fight.

I fought Saturday in Spartanburg SC. I stopped the guy in the first after getting rocked and taking a standing 8 count. People were saying it was the fight of the night. I'm sure it was exciting, but the skills and speed weren't there compared to many of the younger guys. I'm ok with that though. I trained hard and had a great time. I appreciate you asking.
