Some more names for the list...
Barry McGuigan, great pressure fighter, body shots in particular, amazing partisan crowds and always going forward
Julian Jackson insane ko power, don't blink
Julio Cesar Chavez, just a tank of a man, unstoppable
George Groves, all round quality, speed and power but made mistakes v top opponents
Lloyd Honeyghan, for a couple of years in the mid 80s he was absolutely awesome, brilliant occasions when he held the world title and some great post fight quotes!

Nigel had amazing power and was in some of the best bouts in the 90s, watch him v Barklay, Watson, Eubank, McClellan (tragic outcome but insane bout)

I agree with you on George Groves. He was underrated and mostly remembered in his short career for his psycho persona when it comes to Froch...but he was a good fighter who always brought it. As an Aussie I have to go with Jeff Fenech and Vic Darchinian.

          I'll go with active guys.

          Fury
          Wilder
          Joshua
          Canelo
          Golovkin
          Crawford
          Roman Gonzalez
          Virgil Ortiz
          Gervonta Davis
          Teo Lopez

There are plenty more, but those off the top of my head. For me to find someone fully exciting, there has to be a certain level of skill involved. Nash out

A few big names I am surprised nobody mentioned yet that I think deserve to be in the conversation:

Armstrong: Straight blood and guts pressure fighter, its insane.
SRR: Probably has the best highlight reel out there, despite a good number of his fights not on film, bonkers combos
Ali: Not the power guy, or aggressor, you see with most other names. But speed and movement, combined with flash (and a good chin) make it fun

Have you seen his son Conor Benn yet? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conor_Benn

Never seen him fight sadly. Gather he is tough and can dig but comes up a bit short against elite opposition. Not sure anyone has the warrior mentality of his old man, who used to love a tear up to quote the man himself.

Actually, he nearly got upset in one of his early fights. He had to dig deep to win.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the background info. Hope Conor can do that against the better opponents too then, if he has to. I personally found Kevin Kelley pretty exciting myself, he had some good scraps and a couple come from behind wins, but struggled against most of the elite opponents. Was WBC and WBA featherweight champ at different times though.
