But wouldn't your approach be better suited to the NSB section and not history?

What's the point of expressing mere opinion in a history discussion?
Nash likes to get around. He doesn't limit himself. Nash out.

Simply put, no short-armed pressure fighter is EVER going to beat a prime George Foreman (or Sonny Liston for that matter). It's just Kryptonite for them. They're just going to get hammered repeatedly with KO punches before they ever get to their desired range.
And, Foreman has small ears, not easily reachable with a bite.

Yup... People always want to talk about weight and never about reach. From a Universal perspective reach is a very desirable and useful attribute: Bill Superfoot Wallace could never be beaten in the ring because of the reach he used with his front round kick... a front kick from the side thrown like a jab.

Yeah, it seems like 90% of BS posters just beat-off over weight and height.....when the really significant attribute is reach. Mostly because 90% of this forum are whyte incels under the age of 40 who are fans of really tall, unathletic whyte "fighters" like the Klitorises

Bigger is better! lol. You try to tell these mugs that Louis, Marciano... among others, walked around 200 plus and could have come in the ring heavier at prime, as we know Louis, when older and a shell of himself came in around 205-213... Its just that it was better to be lighter! No boxing trainer worth his salt would let guys come in the ring like most guys come in today... and we see how many punches are now averaged a round, how many things a fighter can do in a round, etc... all which tell us that the lighter heavyweights were, at the very least, in superior fighting condition.

Yet this floats over most people's cranium. They are perfectly willing to entertain the fact that someone like Rid**** Bowe could drop Louis (how many times was Louis actually Ko'ed? lol), with the power of his punch...yet are unwilling to state how Bowe would ever arrive to hit Louis. Bowe who gassed prematurely, who relied on a fighter staying in front of him. Holy beat him the one time by boxing him.

Which means he didn't beat him, just out boxed him. The other two times when he he tried to fight him he got beat.

              Boxing is over-rated [wink]

Moreover, he did a better job against Prime Holyfield than Mike Tyson did against a old Holyfield. And lastly, Mike Tyson was scared of George Foreman. I have foreman at least 5 places ahead of Tyson.
People insist on calling Spinks a LHW when he fought Tyson. He had four fights at HW before getting in with Tyson, and was only about 7 pounds lighter. He was 4 inches taller than Mike. He was indeed a full blown HW by the time he fought Tyson. He lost the fight in the locker room though, he was intimidated and looked terrified when he climbed through the ropes. He didn't wan to be there.

Absolutely! Holyfield likes to slug but is better as a boxer because he can box very well.

Tysons foot work is better than 99% of the big name heavies. I have yet to see anyone duplicate his educated feet.
