Actually, me being the only Tyson nuthugger left and it's only to counter the trash spewed by some people. Such as "I rank him about as high as Earnie Shavers" classic quote by a Rocky fan of course.

For me it's Rocky's fans. There is a difference between being a nuthugger and a delusional nuthugger. As for Tyson, he hasn't been making much noise lately. It's not like anyone picks him to beat Ali, or any other great for that matter.

I think the worst of it is when the people doing the nuthugging don't really know anything about the sport of boxing other than what they've read. Alot of this type of stuff wouldn't be as severe if they actually watched the fight. Perception changes when you actually understand what's going on in the ring.

I just went through one of the klit lover threads and that guy fulcrum is a standout. He is the prototype and mother of all nuthuggers. I can understand that knowledgeable fans get a bit tired of this bs. Still credit to themanchine for educating him although it as expected had little effect.

Tyson was a good fighter when he wanted to be. He was from 18-22 the best I've seen at that age for a HW.

Don't let your emotions get in the way of seeing what others are seeing. They see him as a Fighter first.

He was a Fighter, not a Saint. We can go down the list of Fighters that weren't Saints in and outside the ring.
These athletes beat the **** out of each-other for a living and could even kill their opponent so they can be seen in the wrong for even fighting.

The problem I have with Tysonites is that they will not open up one bit to the possibility that Tyson could have lost even if he stayed with Rooney. They just see how good he was up to 21/22 with Rooney and that he was undefeated so they think he would have continued on and cleared out the 90's Heavyweights with ease. And they will continue on saying he would have defeated anyone in history including Ali and Foreman.

They will also refuse to acknowledge that Tyson is to blame for his decisions and downfall. Lots of factors why he fell, but he is still in the blame.

Of course just as obnoxious as the rabid Tyson nuthuggers are the rabid Tyson haters who refuse to give him any credit whatsoever. They have more in common than either side would ever admit.

There are thousands of boxers who could reasonably be called a piece of ****. LaMotta, Monzon, Robinson, Corrales and countless others who beat their wives black and blue. Liston and his mob associates, convicted rapist Ayala, convicted murderers Lyle and DeJesus, Mayweather convicted of assaulting two women. Marciano wasn't an angel either. Very few Mother Theresas in boxing. Pieces of ****? For what they did, yes. Does that mean they don't deserve credit for their in-ring accomplishments? Of course not.
