Robinson's propensity to beat his wife up is common knowledge as is the fact she suffered at least one miscarriage as a result.His own son deals with it in one book.

There have been many bios of Louis I doubt there is anything of significance that hasnt been already covered.I found his own auto biography refreshingly honest.
Tyson was a man child? What exactly does that mean ,that it makes it okay to try and **** an11 years old girl? Punch old ladies for their purse money?**** a woman? Bite off an opponents ear? Any 17 year old who tries to **** an 11 years old girl is guilty of attempted *****philia.That is unarguable. Tyson grew up with no more cameras and press attention than Joe Louis who was the first black Heavyweight Champion since Johnson and the first to get a chance to win that title ,the pressure on him to behave responsibly,to set a good example for blacks and to show the white public black men were as equal as white men and more than capable of having the same qualities must have been stiflingly unbearable at times . Louis lived his entire career under the microscope.he couldn't be seen with white women.attempts to photograph him eating watermelon were discreetly avoided.
Joe Louis was instrumental in getting the colour bar in baseball dismissed ,he broke down the bar in golf,He helped Jackie Robinson get into Officers Training School ,he refused to perform exhibitions in Europe in front of segregated audiences.He gave black people a sense of pride in their race to the extent that he became an icon for blacks.
Tyson hasnt done anything for anyone but himself.and the few arse lickers that flocked around him for his $$$

Tyson had great managers in Cayton and Jacobs, when Jacobs died he left Cayton for King, thats on him no one else.A man is responsible for his own actions nobody else. All this raised in the street **** does make me smile, literally thousands of kids were raised the same way and they didnt turn out like Tyson.
I'm not emotional about Tyson apart from watching his boxing career and enjoying his fights. I couldn't give two ****'s about him,one way or the other.

if you notice the people Louis hung around with, the life he lived and everything else would point to a man who was likely of similar morals. The difference is Louis had charm and a lot of friends. I could tell you this Ali was probably one of the bigger pieces of **** if you wanna get moral about it, but good looks and charm go a long way.
