Leon Spinks could fight, the guy ****in' beat Ali. He was just not the most intelligent when it came to preparation............Rockin'
I got to agree: Canerra. His entire career was a fraud. He was wholely owned by the Mob who brought him along with setups and dives. In fact most boxing historians believe Jack Sharkey took a dive thereby handing Primo the title. When he finallty faced a live and unbribed opponent (Max Baer) he got the crap beat out of him. Surprisingly for such a huge man he could punch a lick. Eventually he went on to be a proffesional wrestler who was hugely popular. Primo was really a good guy who was unaware he was being used by the Mob and thought he was winning fights legitimately. The Mob threw him away penniless when they had no further use for him.

damn, thats cold man, you guys debating who was "worst" HeavyWeight Champ! Do you realize how hard it is to even be a top contender, let alone HW Champ?! but I can tell you the shortest reign as WBC HeavyWeight Champion...Buster Douglas. Defeated Mike Tyson In Japan of 1988, only to lose the title 10 months later.

Got ko'd in 1 round by a man Tyson beat in 1 round. That was the end of Blubber Douglass i believe.

Douglas had the tools but not the mentality!

In shape and motivated Douglas was a damn good fighter. The problem was he wasn't in shape and motivated that often!

Seldon was another one who was a decent fighter but like Oliver McCall and Andrew Golota was a head case. He lost a lot of credibility by getting KOed by Tyson without getting hit!

Rahman had the skills but never seemed motivated.

McCall could have been a damn good fighter if his mental issues hadn't derailed him.

As we can see, often times the worse HW champions are the ones who aren't as strong mentally. I mean, there were lots of men who weren't that gifted but still became one of the greatest because they had the heart, hunger and determination.

I'm not that hot on my boxing history but there can't be many worse lineal champions than shannon briggs, he has only one win over a top contender and that was against foreman, who should have won that fight.

Of the alphabet champs, the WBO posse of Bentt, Akinwande and Hide are pretty woeful, lyakhovic has done nothing else apart from beating brewster....
