More power... My motive is putting boxers in their rightful place. Calzaghe is not nearly as great as he is being made out to be. There are fighters today that have accomplished more then Calzaghe and are not even on the p4p list. I think the list doesn't make sense... :boxing:Sometimes it sounds satisfying or fulfilling to be called a writer of what ever field of interest one person is in...with my great love of sport especially of boxing, knowledge of such depends greatly of how eager u focus on what u've interested into...i find this list & even the previous listings in different weight levels of the respective writers opinion intriguing & of somewhat nonsense...even though i already don't like reading his writings based on his previous items it still catches my eye since it involves a lot of my favorite fighters of w/c i've closely monitored from the past up to the present...i believe he made lines of bases & made it complicated so that it will sounds better & convincing to the readers eye but i think he's the only one who understands it...i think from what the general public views as of fans favorite, experts/writers favorite, medias favorite, etc. will be a good basing factor to consider, since its a common denominator viewed as a whole package summary of creating a different lists of boxings best....the history of the collection of favorites from past to present reflects it all...not by guessing, not by inventing, not by illusions, but by records...

FFS Malignaggi went 11 with Hatton, how is Hatton gonna even hurt a guy like Pacquiao. If Hatton tries to box he is signing his own death warrant against the Pac man. Study ur lesson... Calzaghe is a light-heavyweight back in the same-day weigh-in era. That's a four-division difference between Leonard's prime weight. That's a three to four division difference between Hearns's best weight (pick 147 or 154). That's two divisions above Hagler, who never cared much to venture above middleweight. There's height and reach, but there's also frame. Leonard in his prime in the early 80s would be bloated if he tried to move up to face a light-heavyweight, or would be at a huge weight disadvantage if he chose to remain light. Same with Hearns. We've seen how Leonard looked when he ventured above 160 in the late 80s. He didn't look good, and that was against a shrunk down Lalonde and a Hearns whom many (including Leonard) thought was shot after the Barkley KO and struggle with Kinchen. :boxing: U have to study ur resources first about Leonard, Hearns, Hagler, Duran, find out by urself how many times they've fight at LMW, MW, SMW....watch it by urself their performances before u laid ur observations...& don't even deny them chances as what u've think of Calzaghe...:hitit:

Just for an info: Why would I have a reason to think he wouldn't do what he has always done in every fight, IE: win? I don't believe Hearns would have beaten Calzaghe. And this is coming from a MASSIVE Tommy Hearns fan. Hearns didn't have the best chin. He also got tired and his stamina wasn't fantastic. Although it's easy to see fighters of the past in a glorious light, so I understand why anyone might think Hearns would beat him. I always said it would take a good cruiser or heavyweight punch to put Calzaghe down and keep him down. Tommy had power, but not the kind of power needed to KO Calzaghe. He lost to welterweights, middleweights, and light heavies, was knocked out 4 times, had 5 losses in total, and 1 draw. Maybe if Calzaghe was a welter or light middle it might be a different story. As it stands, no, Hearns would not beat Calzaghe. When you have advisor's they NEVER supposed to speak on your behalf without consulting with you first because Pacquiao is the boss. Whatever his advisor is saying that is what they have all agree on. Partly i agree, yes Pacquiao needs advisers on their own respective expertise...They have their mutual understanding, hired them & he trust them respectively for the common good...And the team trust Pacquiao to execute his expertise inside the ring...But it depends on the situation on a particular matter whether it has a long term effect or short term effect, the expert on that particularly area was trusted for his expertise not necessarily a consultation be made...

Mate, you're missing the point entirely of what TS is trying to say. I'm sure he's a big a fan of these guys as any boxing fan is. Nonetheless, the simple truth is that when they were fighting at those higher weights, at the end of their careers, they were not nearly as good and their performances were, in some cases, terrible. The Duran/Leonard 3 fight is simply a fizzer. It was a non-fight, especially after the fights each guy had beforehand, which could very well be the reason they performed so bad in that fight. Leonard wasn't that old, but he was past it, while Duran was just plain old and way past his proper weight. The Hearns/Leonard fight was very exciting, but again, both guys were past it though Hearns still did a lot after that fight. Again though, Leonard lost badly in that fight, no matter what the judges say, he simply got out-fought and out-boxed throughout the whole fight. Disgusting, ridiculous decision and it shows that Leonard was not what he used to be. All the fights above MW were terrible for all of them apart from Hearns who did some great stuff. Leonard and Duran would have lost though. Hearns may have taken it but I think he would be outfought and Hagler would have been the only one to stand a really good chance. We have no idea what he would be like at the higher weight though. I still think he would win. ..but in this case i don't agree w/ u...maybe my reaction to ur other qoute will make sense at all...
