Which L? you can say who won or lost a match by watching 15 seconds edited video? wow! this comment sounds so F casual to me.
He looked good vs van herdeen too in the edited video, isnt it? what did happen when we saw the unedited video, dude? oh! I remember, van herdeen toyed connor all day long.
You know? 27th august will be a very funny day. Well, not for connor, that will probably be in the hospital, but hey! not everybody can be happy in this world, isnt it?
I think he will be the second happier guy that night, with all that money on the bank...
Let Zhang fight ddd. Parker has had ups and downs in his career, blowing hot and cold at times, so just because Parker is fortunate to eventually find some form don't mean should jump queue. Don't mean he should have first shot.
Why didn't Zhang get shot after beating Joyce x2? If Zhang beats ddd, Zhang can promise Parker 1st chance
Maybe because Parker already beat Zhang
Really? What about Barracas Boxing Club?
It seems like it. Are you in Buenos Aires? Here's a link to one "click here." This one is in Buenos Aires.
That's a club, more like a gym. Keep in mind that we use the word school for many things (like a driving school for example) but has nothing to do with primary school or highschool. We don't have box in any school as a subject or a class. Some universities do have gyms where you can do extra curricular activities like weights, swimming, etc.
Am I the only one wondering what the fuck Jorges is wearing on his head? A giant sackcloth beret? Half a hood? This sh1t is genuinely intriguing...
... the fight however is not. Charlo whoops that ass. I kinda like Heiland too, gutsy dude, but this is beyond his level.
It's an Argentinian boina (hat), what "gauchos" used to wear. Much like the typical french hat. That's why his nickname is "el gauchito", he wear typical Argentinian clothes.
Castaña is another hype job of Argentina
Like Fabián Maidana that Lost against a 126 journeyman last week
Hype job? He beat Derevianchenko in WBS, spence in the amateurs (and a pretty decent stat of 181-5-5), and Vitu and Soro in the pro ranks (Soto been rated n°7 in the Ring mag rankings at the time). Nothing hype about him if you ask me... and in no way comparable to Maidana, that besides how good one would think he is, the hype around him has much to do with his last name.
WTF is this backwards interpretation. We all know they are fighting at 130.
First off, there is nothing strange about a belt holder at any weight, retaining there current belt and gaining a second belt at a different weight class. For example, Canelo and Floyd have both done this. That is what Gervonta Davis is doing and this is how boxing should work.
Where this steps outside the box is SantaCruz forced the fight at 130 but will still get access to a belt at 135. If we are honest, that is really the negotiated advantage here. Leo gets to Weight drain Davis and still get access to a neck to level belt.
So why is the article and Frampton framing it as a benefit for Davis and PBC? Davis is not gaining any advantage for trying to make a weight he couldn’t make several years back.
The 135 belt was obviously an incentive for SantaCruz to take the fight or... why would he if there wasn’t a belt on the line?
But either way, Davis certainly can put his belt on the line and choose to accept Santa Cruz’s lower weight limit.
So not only do I have to question why is this being spun from this angle? Even more importantly, why is this a big deal?
Canelo was holding the belt at 160. He was able to fight a guy who was barely ranked in the top 10 for the unearned 168 LB title against Fielding. Where was the outrage then? Clearly the outrage is rigged and not real.
One thing is not losing a belt when fighting in another division, and a totally different thing is two different weight class belts being on the line, and not to mention that the "other title" is the one weight class above.
His fan base is multi-national and multi-cultural. Lot's of black Americans like Loma. Some might not be that vocal about it, but he has a lot of fans. He has a lot of Mexican American fans too. Fans from Mexico. Fans from Europe. Fans from South America.
To be honest, there are not a lot of white Americans that like boxing. Most white Americans like MMA more than boxing, and a big reason for that is due to wrestling being taught in middle school and high school. You grow up with an appreciation for grappling. Boxing has been relegated to urban gyms in ethnic communities, unfortunately. Maybe not so much in Europe, I don't know. But definitely in the states.
This is one of the reasons why we don't see a lot of white American boxers anymore. Back in the 60s and 70s, you had what was called the "white flight." White people left the cities for the suburbs. They didn't take boxing gyms with them, either. It's unfortunate.
I suppose a lot of mothers don't like their sons getting punched in the face after school. And that's all mothers from all backgrounds, which is one of the reasons our amateur boxing sucks now.
Anyway, that was a tangent.
BTW: If you ever wondered why so many boxers come from Argentina, they teach boxing in the schools.
Wot? There's no school here (zero, nada, zip) that teaches boxing. No idea where you get that
What question? Do you see a question mark or question anywhere in his response? He already made the assumption. It's cute of you to defend your bf, but I will be getting it free as part of my UK DAZN subscription.
It is not free if you are paying a subscription, lol
Joshua is a weird dude. I don't know why he would need to check in with his trainer for a fight. He is the one paying Derrick James. I would think that he would start running and doing activities to get himself back in shape and work on his boxing skills. He could fly down to Texas or whatever gym James works out of to start preparation for a summer fight. This dude is so soft. It's a matter of time before someone knocks him out.
Lol a boxing forum poster calling a professional prize fighter soft
Castano was hurt in the 2nd, the 10th, and by his own admission the 11th also! The draw was a good call, but no way was there 117-111! That judge needs to retire!
That was mistranslated (horrible translator, do not know how that guy still working), he said something like he was hurt in the 10th and that he took the 11 to recover.
Who are these world class fighters he's fought where no circumstances were attached from the start? Name them all please.
Well he fought quite a few world champions whom happen to hold world titles which all had the word world in them, if that's not world class what is it?
They had/have no problem sanctioning us fights with us fighters while they were/are at war in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Irak and pretty sure plenty of others
Not sure if his comments were intended to just irritate Turki or to irritate everyone else, but if I were Turki I would send him a package to his home with a dildo inside and a card that says go fu_k yourself.
No Sh#t...I can’t believe how emotional some of these guys are getting over this. He’s a private citizen, and doesn’t owe anybody on these boards an explanation either way. Can’t people just be happy for the guy that he survived, and wait to deal with the rest later?
Well, he could have kill somebody... driving a Ferrari like a madman and crash it in a public road/place (plus no seat belt) and been proud of it does not look too good. But feel free not to empathize with all those innocent car accident victims around.
The people who sound stupid are the loma c-suckers who keep repeating the lie that loma gave lopez some of his own money just to make the fight happen. The same losers that were on lopez’s neck for not taking the initial low ball offer.
Well that is what the news reports, or we should take your word of what happened?
Tyson fury has had many complications one way or another just like Joshua but although I’m indifferent towards him I respect the fact he’s never made excuses like Joshua and weather you like it or not he’s the man at the top right now and that’s a fact no one can argue .
Well, he never lost a fight that give him a chance to start making excuses for
Lol who has Bivol fought that’s so special? Sullivan Barrera? He hasn’t had a knockout in 5 yrs. Went the distance with a domestic fighter who had less than 20 fights last year.
And who those you propose as better opponents for Canelo have fought that makes them better than Bivol? I assume you refer to Charlo and Benavidez? if memory serve me right I saw Charlo struggling quite a bit on his last fight against... against WHO?
You have no idea who I am or what country I am from, so you guessing anything about me is pointless and only says something about yourself, not me.
Indeed, my apologies.
te sigo en twitter? jaja
No no tengo cuenta, pero entro siempre a chusmear la cuenta de boxeo de campeones, y justo vi que apareció el video y dije "ah mira que justo", y despues vi el nombre de usuario y me sentí un poco participe jeje
