I am planning to buy the ppv saturday night. I see it starts at 7pm even though main event is at 9. Toprank website says 7-8:30 is a preview show and 8:30-9 is countdown shows. My question is what are these? Live commentators talking or like some 24/7 type show top rank made. Worthwhile watching? Thanks for The info.

I don't know how to word the question, basically if you missed a great ppv and couldn't access tv/stream for 1 week (the next Saturday), would you watch it on HBO for free, or rebuy the ppv on-demand (they stay on demand for a while). Basically the ppv you get the ring entrances, televised undercard, post fight on ring interviews, etc, *but is this worth $65 (HD) to you* or would you just watch replay on HBO and just get the fight and maybe one other undercard for free?

I know HBO does this for some PPV's in the past... any reason to believe they will or will not do it this time? Thanks. Also, would a replay show the singing of the national anthems and ring entrances?

This might be a stupid question but the ticket says 7pm on it... does this mean doors open at 7pm or that the first untelevised fight starts at 7pm? Same type of question - the PPV starts at 9pm does that mean that the first televised undercard starts at 9:00pm or 15/30 minutes later? Thank you.

I know on PPV at home they say what all the judges gave after each round on the TV, but if you go there live do they show on the big TVs the judge's scores after every round, or announce it out loud? What about for all of the undercard and non televised fights? Thank you.

Hey guys - I'm new to watching pro boxing and am trying to figure out what I should be looking for for scoring. I'm just a little confused... are the judges (or all of you when you watch live or on tv) writing down the number of hits, blocks, etc, or is it kind of like an overall number. Like, if boxer A hits boxer B 5 jabs in a row clean to the face, but boxer B hits boxer A with two massive hits which one is better (assume boxer A was not knocked down)? I get the scoring system of 10/9 or 9/10 and -1 for knockdowns etc I'm just trying to figure out who gets the 9 who gets the 10. For example someone recently posted the Cotto vs Mayorga fight. I watched round one which every analyst gave to Cotto but when I watched it I thought they looked pretty equal.

Just wondering if someone knew estimated how much Cotto will make. I heard 5 mil plus a "percentage of PPV revenues" but I cant find anywhere what "percentage" the boxers get is. If they sell 1 million PPVs at $54, thats $54,000,000... how much of that would he get? Also, how does this rank dollar for dollar in terms of highest paying fights in history (I have no idea). HI everyone - Going to Cotto/Margarito II at Madison Square Garden. Will be my first fight. I know its a ppv so I was wondering if I am allowed to bring a digital camera? What about a small video camera (Flip)? Also, do the sell official t-shirts for the event/individual fighters? Last, the ticket says 7pm.
