Im a Haye fan but thats some funny ****. In order to be the best, you have to beat the best. Haye hasn't fought the unified HW champion of the world, Wladimir Klitschko, yet.
So he is not the best. It doesn't matter what other guys you beat, if you haven't beat the best guys in the division, you aren't the best. And last I checked Wlad and Vitali are clearing out the two best challengers in the division, Adamek and Solis as well.
I like Haye, but his little prima-donna game really backfired on him and now that he's backed into a corner, it looks like he's going to be in a really tough fight with a guy that flat-out ducked Wladimir (Povetkin).
Wladimir easily beat up the guy that beat Valuev (Chagaev) when Haye backed out of the fight with Wlad.
It's not that Haye hasn't fought Wlademere. It's that Wlademere hasn't fought Haye.
In case you forgot, my fellow knowledgeable boxing fan, Wlademere opted for 14-fight master Dereck Chisora instead of Haye, after Haye agreed to everything Wlademere wanted.
Who has Wlademere beaten lately? ... hmm ... Oh yeah! He beat Samuel Peter after Peter already lost to both him and his brother before!
Styles make fights. And Wlademere has never fought anyone bigger than him. Maybe that's why he never even mentioned Valuev's name (out of fear)?
Step up your trolling bro. Haye accomplished against Valuev the same that a 47 years old Holyfield did, ATG stuff right there
So a 47 year old Holyfield was man enough to fight Valuev but Wlademere wasn't?
Interesting..
And I'm sure you remember the part where Olympic medalist and #1 ranked Povetkin backed out of the fight with Wlad a month out, so to satisfy his mandatory obligation he had to fight #2 ranked Sam Peter.
Notice that Povetkin is absolutely jumping at the chance to fight David Haye, but completely ducked Wladimir Klitschko.
Why?
Because the fight with Haye is completely winnable for him. The fight with Wladimir was not.
Lots of love for David and I wish him the best. But he is #3 regardless of who he fights until the Klitschko fight comes off.
I seem to remember Wlademere requesting that Peter be made his mandatory challenger. So, really, it's not that he had to fight him; it's that he wanted to fight him. :owned:
I'm not surprised Povetkin wants to fight Haye. Haye doesn't offer cruel contracts like the Klitschko's do, where if one Klitschko loses, you have to fight the other one and then the original one again and then the other one again until one of them finally wins.
Damn, not 1 thing about him beating the best
Did you not read the part where I said he beat John Ruiz (and retired him, might I add)?
Ruiz was ducked by both Klitschko's.
Cuts and facial swelling dont count as damage? His foot work is better than Leonard? HIs speed and power combos are better than Tyson? JMM lost what after fighting Pac? ?
We've narrowed it down to most weight divisions.
No, cuts and facial swelling are not serious damage.
Leonard was a dancer and could shuffle but Pacquiao uses his feet better.
Pacquiao is much faster than Tyson.
Marquez got dominated by Mayweather and nearly lost to Casamayor, Diaz and Katsidis. Pre-Pacquiao Marquez is much better.
Tyson was much more powerful. Manny has never been a one punch KO fighter but I have seen that myth sneak into existence. Basically if you dont get carried out of the ring theres no damage?
I tried to avoid that fact but I would like to hear his arguement..
I'm talking pound for pound and pound for pound Pacquiao is faster and more powerful than Tyson.
He KO'd Hatton with one shot which was the knockout of the year, thank you very much.
You aren't even worth arguing with. And I LOVE to feed trolls. You are just really, really dumb.
You're just mad because Marquez is your favorite fighter and I proved you wrong.
Wait...what is serious damage then? If the cuts he suffered against Morales aren't damage, what could possibly be construed as damage? Also, Marquez got dominated by Mayweather based purely on size and speed. It wasn't a damage thing. Casamayor was a good fighter and he wasn't ever in a position to lose that fight. Diaz was an excellent fighter, KO 9. Katsidis got dominated except for one punch. His reflexes are slowing down a bit, but that's due to age, not beating Pacquiao up twice.
Serious damage = broken bones, serious hospitalization, etc.
Marquez lost to Mayweather because he didn't have the skills that he once had, anymore.
Casamayor was ahead on the scorecards before getting caught. Diaz nearly knocked out Marquez early on before the bell saved him. Katsidis knocked down Marquez and had him seriously hurt and could've knocked him out but the referee saved him.
That was my p4p analysis. Pac only has one of those type punches. If you watched the fight you know even that was set up and Hatton was woosy from an accumilation of punches. Tyson had some "one punch and done" fights against bigger guys. Thank you friend.
Biggest load of crap I've had the privilege of reading today.
