Just concentrate on Parker, if you manage to pull that off which I see as a 60/40 fight in Parkers favor, you can dream of world domination. You lost all respect not going to NZ and getting the Champ to fight you in your own back yard... I suppose you want to pick the ref and judges too... I hope Parker knocks you out
I think (and who the fk am I) that Cox's aggression will get him stopped, he seems quite emotional and will press the action every time he gets clipped. His fundamentals still look quite amateurish, they say he is a puncher but he doesn't sit down on his shots ? Groves wins
Frustrating watch as a fan, Parker was not getting the right advice in the corner, and Ruiz seemed to take half the fight off... Ruiz was very effective when he let his hands go but just didn't do it enough... Parker on this performance you would certainly fancy AJ although he has to get through Fury first and that isn't a gimme.... I think he came in too confident of the win, he thought we would beat Ruiz comfortably but that is not only his fault but the corners as well... good learning fight though ..I had Parker by 2
Going into Tyson mode from round one is the way to upset the normally calm in control Wlad, if this becomes a boxing fight there is only one winner and it's not AJ... he has to upset Wlad and bully him from round 1... (keyboard trainer)
I think 70/30 is fair, theirs a case for 80/20 but I am sure the Parker deal will be done first and as part of the Wilder negotiations Hearn will make sure it is known that it is for the unified HW Championship. The percentage for Wilder will probably be 70/30 as well. Parker earns more currently than Wilder and they both have one of the straps, Parker is challenging for 3 belts where there is a good possibility that Wilder will be fighting for 4.
Dear Chris Williamson, Thank you for your boxing report but I have an issue... Calling Dave Allens opponent unacceptable ?? this is a fighter who was 9-2 going in against a 50-50 win/loss 22-29 opponent which is certainly acceptable for an up and coming prospect, for the pure fact that Allen has more courage than sense you are going to call him out on a journeyman opponent that he should have been competing against all along before calling out any and all... should he be prosecuted for that, hell NO that is something that a boxing fan would love to see more often... Dave Allen needs to be managed/guided with care to protect himself from himself as he obviously willing to fight anyone (proof in the Ortiz fight that no one else will fight) so if he is brought back to the level where he should be we shouldn't be so quick to criticize, good win for Allen, Congratulations.. please excuse this journo
Warren is so in the wrong here, he is trying to protect his interest by denouncing Duco, show some class... the duco's are inexperienced but they led there very first boxer to the heavyweight world title, that's nothing but impressive... the boxing game is full of bull**** and the truth is probably somewhere in the middle of this...
I really like Joshua.... is this too soon, of course it is,,, can Joshua pull this off.... No... I would love him too but to be true I can't see it... Klitchko is up for this, this is legacy fight,,, I know Joshua is being hyped as the "next heavyweight champion" although he would be in a tooth and nail fight with Wilder and Parker I see him winning both of those, Klitchco is a different animal and because Fury beat him he is done ???No he is not and he will prove that in this bout... Hearn can promote a fight but can't change the result
# of alphabet belts doesn’t make somebody no. 1, but props to him for beating a decent opponent actually it does ... within that or those organizations, we don't have a crystal ball so if they haven't fought each other yet we have to rely on their record and the strap that they carry... hypothetical matchups are just that...
I don't know what's happened or where i've been but a year or two ago Ortiz was the most feared fighter in the HW division and Wilder was the most untested Champion, Ortiz has not been beaten and Wilder has not stepped up so I can't understand why Ortiz is now old and over it and it is public opinion that Wilder will stop Ortiz early... it may happen, i'd be surprised if it did... this is a live fight, if Wilder comes through then all respect to him but Ortiz i don't believe should be written off and I like him in this fight
All i've got to say is that Haye's fans seem like they are a mirror image of Haye except Haye was actually gracious in defeat this time and didn't look for excuses, his fans should follow suit
The only dark forces going on was at the after party https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/other-sports/97197756/fury-camp-claim-conspiracy-theories-but-that-doesnt-stop-tyson-partying-with-joseph-parker
Dibella knows that it couldn't have been anyone else except Takam as that is what is mandated by the IBF.. Dibella is turning into a ***** lately... Facts are Hearn offered Wilder a career high pay day to fight Wyte, Whyte has more credibility and is ranked higher than any other opponent that Wilder has fought bar Stiverne who he is having to fight as Ortiz pulled out (I want to know what happens to the step aside money they have already paid Stiverne), so highest ranked opponent, highest payday, a guarantee for the AJ fight... what are they are going to hold out for a Molina rematch ??
no I don't when I say worldbeater I mean pfp type he is good 118 and I think he can hang with tete,he def top 5 now but no worldbeater just my 2cents I agree he is not pfp yet, but he is doing everything right to get there.. he would have to be no 1 at 118 just because he is the only unified champ, I believe Hearn will keep him away from Tete though
Fair result, you have to take the title from the champion and Fury was defensive all night, he frustrated Parker but didn't do enough to win...Mick Hennessy is pissed because there goes a possible life line in the promoting sweepstakes, worst undercard I have ever seen as well for a ppv show.
I like anthony yard, quick reflexes, good power, an improving defense and likable, but prove your the best light heavy in the UK before taking over the world, but good to have ambition
The only place I have been attacked by a mob... (Lucky they didn't get anything) after a fight show on my way back to the hotel, a bunch of 16-25 year olds tried to mug me and NO one did anything but watch.... Fk Mangua
