Fair enough. But with his power, he has a chance to beat anyone. If someone like Steward trains him and says he can beat Bute or Froch, then he must have some skill. I'm not saying I think he can beat Bute or Froch BTW.
Completely different situations -
Carl Wasn't KTFO against Ward, Carl takes care of himself outside of the ring, he hasn't took as much punishment as Ricky and he wasn't inactive for 3 years before he fought Bute.
I haven't seen those fights, but i was just making the point that one bad performance doesn't make you a fraud.
He might not have looked good since Jacobs, but he's still winning.
The fact is, Johnson is better than any of Price's opponents, that include the tiger. You try justifiying Harrison and Skelton as opponents, yet you forget to mention that Rogan beat them both.
What he's done with Tyson Fury is remarkable. Fury was a decent contender a few years ago, now he's a top five Heavyweight who could one day beat Wladimir.
I don't expect you to say anything positive about Pirog as you have a picture of Martinez as your profile.
Pirog didn't look that good tonight, but Martinez looked bad against Darren Barker, you can't look good every fight, Ishida has an iron chin.
It was more the high volume than handspeed. Plus he wasn't badly troubled by it anyway. I think Martinez beats Pirog but all I'm saying is give him a chance, let's see what happens in the Pirog/Geale fight if it happens.
How is this a horrible fight?? Zuniga has fought elite fighters; Bute, Cloud (went the distance) and prime Kelly Pavlik.
Oosthuizen is a prospect who is gradually facing better opponents. Good fight IMO.
