So why fight thurman for way less money? jacobs is no rocky fielding. Jacobs is the taller bigger fighter and will use that size to his advantage utilizing the jab. It will be a close fight 6-4 jacobs but canelo gets the decision even though in the eyes of the boxing world jacobs won clearly.

You left out something very important. A fighters health especially in the long run. Floyd laid out the blue print, fight twice a year, make a ton of money, and dont get hit.

Anyways - what all the hundreds of rounds of sparring are really gonna mean is that both fighters will know exactly what traps to expect, what tells to look for and so on... each will be ready to neutralise the other, and both are skilled enough to do so. For me that aspect of it makes it an even more fascinating match up even though I'm not expecting some kinda high octane punchfest (although it's possible that either one of them could try going a bit wild to change the rules of the encounter as it were).

This is just a weird fight it should be really interesting being they know each other so well and have sooo many rounds of sparring each other.
