Olympic medals arent won in the pros so dead that shiit. The Prizefighter tournament is a bunch of bums or hasbeens swinging at each other for 3 rounds. Harrison even struggled in that before his power bailed him out....just like against Sprott. Chisora would beat him. Martin Rogan....a taxi driver....beat Audley. Have you seen Audley fight or are you just gonna yell "he won a gold medal" all night?
I said the Klitschko's are more well known in America. Not because i think i know what YANKS think. But because its a simple fact. The Klitschko's have been on HBO several times, whereas Haye has never. Adamek is more well known in the US than Haye. Its not my opinion, its the way it is. You have a lot to learn.
Ohhh, well looky-here! The American poser says Olympic medals mean nothing! :lol1:
Prizefighter is the top tournament for British heavyweights and Harrison has won it. Chisora hasn't. And yes, I have seen Harrison fight. Maybe even more than you have.
What does HBO have to do with it? Tyson wasn't fighting on HBO throughout most of the 90s, yet he was the most popular fighter of that decade.
I have nothing to learn, because there's nothing that I understand. I already know everything I need to know and I suggest you educate YOURSELF.
Yeah and the Klitschko's are still more well known than Haye. No one in America really knows who Haye is for example, whereas the Klitschko's have been on HBO several times.
Haye is the challenger. He holds a paper title which actually belongs to Wlad.
Chisora would beat Harrison. Olympic Medals...lol you know this is the pros right? Prizefighter? You cant be serious....
You sound very confused.
What do you know Dirk Digger UK? You're not from America, so stop pretending you know what they think.
They offered him a 50/50 split of everything no options and he turned it down, him getting even a 40/60 would be fair since he is not known world wide and is just a local draw, a rejection of their offers is a duck plain and simple.
Haye is the one people wanna see the Klitschko's fight. It's garnered worldwide interest. 50/50 is perfect.
And Haye isn't a local draw.. the Klitschko's are a local draw. You think they would do good in England without Haye? No.
But Haye did good without the Klitschko's in Germany fighting Valuev.
:owned2:
please!....acting as if he wants a fight with the klitbros and actually fighting them are 2 different things....haye is like floyd to manny pac!
Haye wanted to fight but the Klitschko's put a BS stipulation in the contract!
How about we do it like this, here are Hayes last 3 opponents next to Wlad and Vitali.
Haye
1. John "Quiet Man" Ruiz-Won 3 fights in the last 6 years. Terrible, old, washed up. Those 3 wins against Serin, McCline and Tisdale on average had 13 losses. Terrible
2. Nikolai Valuev- Old, hasnt won since he ropped holyfield in 2008. Last person of any merit he legit beat was Liakhovich who if you remember was KO'ed by Shannon Briggs.
3. Monte Barrett-Barrett came to the ring having slept in the streets and starving. He was brought to England on an old slave ship and then dumped their. He didnt know the language, he had no money and none of his staff was allowed to come. They blindfolded him and brought him to the ring and thats when he found out he was fighting Haye. That adn Barrett has won 3 timesi n his last 10 fights.
Vitali Klitschko
1. Shannon "The Cannon" Briggs- 2 time heavyweight champion, wins over an ATG HOF, big strong and mean
2. Albert Sosnowski- the man was 45-2 when he entered the ring. Was the Euro champ. Much more in shape and fresh than any Haye opponent
3. Kingpin- undefeated, tough strong and mean.
Wladimir Klitschko
1. Sam Peter- The Nigerian nightmare. He puts you to sleep and then he haunts your dreams. Former champion a monster, only lost to Klitschko's and Fast Eddie. Has beaten future HOFers
2.Fast Eddie Chambers-35-1. The fastest hands of any heavyweight ever seen. He has toppled giants. Young, fresh, 1 defeat and wins over many contenders. Top 5 ranked HW.
3. Ruslan White Tyson Chagaev- undefeated, beat Valuev better than Haye could ever dream of. He's like Haye if you died Haye white and gave him roids for 15 years. He also has wins over a fresher john ruiz and a fresher valuev. White Tyson>>>>>Haye
This post is such a disgraceful attempt at trolling that I'm not even gonna grace it with a serious response.
Exposed? :lol1:
Yeah you got me there, I was really trying to hide it too. What with "UK" in my name, British fighter in my pic and the British flag in my avy.
How the fuk did you crack the code?
Yes, you did get exposed. You're British and you're trying to explain what the average American thinks.
bullfukking****....excuses, excuses.......the klits are the kings of hw, haye aint got no right to demand his terms!..none!
Who sells more PPV's? Haye or the Klitschko's? Oh, right. I forgot. Klitschko's aren't even on PPV in THEIR OWN COUNTRY. That's the reason why the fight is falling apart. Because Haye wants to keep his country's PPV revenue and he wants the Klitschko's to keep theirs. But no, they refuse.
I think they could fight most places in the world and sell better than Haye, ppl don't know who he is other than in England and hardcore fans.
50/50 is a very generous offer, he is the challenger, he is of less world wide notoriety so it is incumbent on him to make some concessions to make this happen but he wants to be treated like and equal when in the sport he is not.
Haye has done everything possible to not make this fight happen and instead of trying to prove all of the things he has been saying is fighting a 40yr old journeyman who has never done anything of note in the sport.
Who YOU think is more popular is YOUR opinion. It's not the general consensus of every boxing fan.
Haye is not the challenger and neither are the Klitschko's. They're champions meeting in a unification bout.
Haye was willing to fight the Klitschko's if they agreed to keep THEIR OWN rightful money from THEIR country and he keeps his. But no, they had to throw a hissy fit and actually have the nerve to call him a ducker.
Harrison is certainly better than Chisora, at this point. Chisora is inexperienced with only 14 fights. Harrison has Olympic medals and the Prizefighter tournament. You may not be impressed by them but you have to agree that Harrison is the better opponent.
Yeah, how ironic him tell Wlad not to run at the end of that vid, now with his statement about "fighting Klitschkos when he is ready" in response to Vitali's offer that is the 4th time he has ducked them since this vid.
So on average its about a duck per every 6 months.
Haye wants to fight, but the Klitschko's are demanding BS stipulations.
Haye wants 50/50 (which is fair) and for each of them to keep the TV money from their own countries (also fair). But no, Klitschko's refuse.
Where did i try to explain what the average American thinks?
Even if I was a Yank, i wouldnt be able to explain that. What the fuk are you on about? You didnt respond to a single point i made, instead you're telling me Im not American which I thought would have been abundantely obvious to anyone with half an eye.
Your points don't really hold much weight, anyways.
Chisora is inexperienced and has accomplished less than Harrison. Make fun of Harrison's Olympic medal and Prizefighter trophy all you want, but it's still more than what Chisora has accomplished at this stage.
Wlad will be the WBA champ once he beats Haye - which will never happen because not only will he not be able to beat him, but he doesn't even wanna agree to fair terms.
You said the Klitschko's are more popular in America, meaning you think you know what Americans think. Understand? :dunce:
And please don't use the term "Yank". It's offensive.
HEY! Here's an idea: fight Alfredo Angulo in Mexico!
Angulo is not too good against top pure boxers (see his fight with Cintron) and Foreman is the perfect example of an pure boxer.
Not to mention a win over Angulo would put him right back to the top so that he can maybe avenge his "loss" to Cotto. Without the knee injury things would've gone differently.
What makes you think Maidana can get it?
If you see over 15 of his ights, they all go to war with him.
Watch Kotelnik and Corley and see some boxing and he doesn;t look that great.
Khan holds his hands up very high now and does nto rush in, he works out the range and tags people, and Maidana is damn easy to hit.
Maidana pressure you and he tries to fight you on the inside. Khan doesn't like that.
Plus, it's not like Khan has even faced any punchers since Prescott. He's avoided them and has chosen over the hill/feather-fisted fighters as his opponents.
Maidana will be the first big puncher Khan has faced since Prescott. Not only that, but Maidana packs A LOT more power.
I think Maidana wins, but not by 1 rd KO..I say around the 4th to 6th rd Maidana will start to get to him..
That's not impossible, but Maidana's power > Prescott's power.
There is no way in hell this will end in 1.
My money goes on khan win via cuts. i think he's going to be hitting maidana from so many angles its going to slash his face wide open. Maidana is going to be a big big challenge though, and it wouldn't shock me if this went the other way.
What do you mean "no way"? If a club fighter already knocked him out in one round, why can't an elite puncher do it?
Yes he does pressure, but not always. Kotelnik boxed his ears off by using the Jab and holding his hands up very well.
Khan can jab damn fast and ahrd, he is faster than anythin Maidana has seen, he hits pretty damn hard and controls distance very well.
On top of his accuracy, he has soemnone that will run into his punchers and is damn open. Maidana has been dropped by a few fighters, and gotten up, but non the less, his chin i not solid like he can walk through Khan.
My point on the chin, puncher or not, Khan was dropped by baby fists and now he hasn't been. His chin is better and his body is different. He put muscle on his legs but is less toned on top.
Khan is gonna stop Maidana.
Trust me, I have seen many fights of both.
Kotelnik is not a pure pressure fighter. :lol1:
Maidana's chin is much better than Khan's. Maidana has only been dropped by Ortiz, who himself is a very good puncher. Yet, he got back up to knock Ortiz out (and Ortiz has a great chin).
Don't even act like Khan's chin has been tested. Khan's been fighting feather-fisted fighters since the Prescott disaster. Even an over the hill, natural featherweight Barrera managed to stun Khan at one point in their fight.
I don't care how much smarter you think you are than me, you will see on fight night why Khan has been trying to avoid Maidana.
Khan is not the same fighter and it is not the same weight.
Maidana is the same as he was VS Kotelnik while Khan has become much better.
But he has the same chin. And once Maidana connects - lights out.
Dan Rafael mentioned that he just started basic training again and that Top Rank will give him a fight in the 1st quarter of 2011.
Great news! Thank you very much! :fing02:
