Maidana will give Khan a beating! Who agrees?

Kottie got tagged, ofcourse some shots went through, but i don't judge a fight on bruises. I look at it and saw kotelnik more effective at boxing and tagging, ehile i saw maidana thrw a lot, not bad speed, but also miss a lot too. I gave that fight to Maidana on effective punching and making the fight..I'll agree Kottie did some good boxing in that fight and was effective himself but Maidana looked to be more effective but as I said already it was a close fight..

this fight has the potential to be a good one well at least i'm hoping it does turn out to be a good one.I would like to see either the real fighter in amir khan's heart come out in this fight but at the same time i do like the style that maidana displays in the boxing ring and this fight should be a very entertaining one at too.My prediction is that if marco maidana can try and work khan's body early on hopefully he can slow down the speedier khan's attack and have him trade shots with him down the strech. Prediction-Maidana by 10 round tko Maidana will go to Khans body fo sure and it's a body part ya really can't move..I just see Maidana making this a dog fight early and catching Khan with something he did not see..He also punches in combos from body to head very well..I just see Khan being in trouble in this fight I think Maidana's all wrong for him...

Erm Ortiz actually went toe to toe with him. He hurt Maidana and went for more. That's not effective pressure. Everytime Ortiz got hit, it was close range because he went forward. He Hurt Maidana in the first and went for the kill like any boxer would have then was hurt him self..By rd two he tried to change what he was doing in there but Maidana applyed effective pressure he was un able to box from the outside watch the fight again and you will see how Ortiz was trying to give movement but was pressured out of it..

Kotelnik does have a chin, but he blocked many of the punches. A lot. Maidana couldn't hit him that often as he normally does to break down a fighter. He was jabbed and easily hit. He coudln't get through that gaurd even though Kotelnik pretty much stood infront of him. I agree it was close, but Maidana's workrate and punches to the glvoes only made it appear closer. So why did Kottie look like he was in WW3??Kottie ate alot of leather in that fight and that's why it was close..But once again Kottie has a good chin..

of course I saw a lot fights of both where Khan got dropped but stood up to win the fights. even after the 1st KD he stood up. that was carzy he was done but he stood up. I respect Khan. He got a lot of heart and hes great boxer for his age and Im even giving him big props for taking the fight with Maidana. but Maidana aint a slugger from the slums. if Khan comes with an A+ game plan and with the help of Roach he could win, but never ever hes going to stop Maidana.

What mental strength? He has ehart but not a great or good chin. yeah and Khan is a heavy hitter GTFO Maidanas chin is good. he opened up the whole time with his head coming first of course he has been dropped they way he fought. but it doesnt bother him he wanted to make him quit. ortiz caught him with his bets shots, but he killed ortiz. Maidana is mentally unbreakable.

Of coruse he could have won. He dropped Maidana 3 times and he quit. He was not knocked out cold, he just gave up and cried. Ortiz couldnt handle the pressure anymore. do you remember his face? A boxer who only sees himself hurting his opponent certainly has that mental edge. Khan has that edge. All he needs is fine tune that edge. I've got to disagree here, fighting fire with fire would be a bad Idea for Khan, not Maidana, i would imagine trying to get inside to attempt to make it a 'fight' is what Maidana is looking for, for me thats his only chance to win, personally i think Maidana is better than Khan on the inside, but thats about it. Prescott already fought fire with fire with Khan and we know what happened there, had Khan took his time and boxed he would have punished Prescott. Fire with fire shouldn't Khans statergy and i doubt it will be come December, not with the history of his chin and the history of Maidanas ability to crack them. However, as long as Khan's chin holds up from Maidanas shots and he uses an effective gameplan on the outside, Khan punishs and stops Maidana down the stretch.

LOL if Ortiz actually boxed instead of try for that KO, he could have won. Ortiz did well when he boxed, but he got happy when he dropped Maidana and got hit. There is a reason why Ortiz did not box Maidana,its called effective pressure..

What makes you think Maidana can get it? If you see over 15 of his ights, they all go to war with him. Watch Kotelnik and Corley and see some boxing and he doesn;t look that great. Khan holds his hands up very high now and does nto rush in, he works out the range and tags people, and Maidana is damn easy to hit. Kottie IMO lost the fight to Maidana but it was close and not a robbery..But Kottie looked like a pizza face at the end of that fight,Kottie also just flat out has a chin while Khan has Many questions about his chin..I think the Corley fight was Maidana not prepared for his opponent which won't happen vs Khan..IMO Maidana did not look bad vs Kottie and TBH if that fight had took place outside of Kottie home town I believe Maidana would be undefeated..

Maidana may KO Khan but he won't give him a prolonged beating. To do that he would have to outbox Khan, and get on the inside for long periods. That just isn't happening against a guy who is going to stick and move all night long.
