This fight funded by the government. Kazakhstan is a poor country. GGG is robbing his people blind.
kazakhstan has a lot of oil, gas, gold etc. But the common people are poor cause it is corrupt as hell. That means there are a lot of rich people here.
I dont believe the 10 mill figure.
I just dont.
If there's 10 mill in a fight over there why ever fight over here?
EXPO happens only once in a lifetime for Kazakhstan. BTW Football world cup in Russia next year.
He's not getting 10 million for the fight because the numbers don't add up.
you do not know how russians or kazakhs think. There are rich people who can buy a yacht for 1 billion. What is 10 -15 mil to them and their ego?
That's a nice pay day for him if it's true but I find it a bit far fetched.... is Khazakstan that lucrative a venue to fetch him 10 million and still get Saunders his fair share? (He won't come cheap if he comes at all)
It is. Kazahstan spent 3 billions on Expo. What is 15 millions comparing to 3 000 000 000$ to promote the event, the country, the national hero?
GGG looked bad because Jacobs made him look bad. GGG won a close decision but don't say his performance was based on some ridiculous theory of him trying to lure people into a match by taking punches in the face. To me it looked like GGG was looking for the KO instead of making opportunities with combinations, he was lucky to get the decision and should start working on what got him to the top of the P4P list.
GGG took most punches on gloves and forearms. Guys, just take a good look at the 4th round. It is the anwer for all questions. Golovkin could make every round like the 4th round all night long making a shapless pulp out of Jacobs face. GGG did not get tired because of 1-2 good rounds. He just decided to spare the health of DJ for the sake of killin Canelo in the ring. Mark my words - GGG will murder the Cowarnelo - rip his head off.
I think Golovkin and Abel did not want to make it so close. They thought the were winning pretty convincingly, but but they decided to win the 12 just in case. I give Golovkin the first 5 rounds + knockdown and so did GGG and Sanchez. Golovkin was the aggresor, the one who wanted to fight. So all close rounds go to him. They thought after the 5th round: ok, lets lure Canelo out. But the judges made it a really risky game.
The fight was close because Golovkin wanted it close. He could finish Jacobs in any round but decided to let him go. Why? To lure out Canelo and Sanders, those two cowards, GGG had to sucrifice his KO streak. Just rewatch 4 and 5 rounds. GGG was murdering DJ, knocked him down and could go on. But decided to give DJ a few rounds. Every round for DJ could be like 4th round. 33 landed GGG, only 11 for DJ. Just rewatch it. GGG was playing with DJ and Canelo.
