Yeah because baseball players don't practice their swing for years either. Hitting a baseball is one of the hardest things in sports. But regardless, I understand your point. Just had to throw in my 2 cents.
Was there really any doubt? Penn is probably the most skilled overall fighter of this generation. He's about to be a household name throughout the country if he stays at LW.
But before I get flamed. I did watch Hatton live and Tivo'd TUF 5.
PS - TUF 5 was much more entertaining.
This Stover guy deserves some respect.
1. He is put in a situation where he doesn't know if his opponant has HIV or not. How the hell can you train with that on yor mind?
2. At the last minute they tell him it's NOT an mma match, but a boxing match. It's bad enough this dude doesn't have any mma experice either but now he's got to box against a former champion.
How many people would have doen that? Not to mention he was way out of shape to beging with. He definiately has some balls.
That's probably the dumbest thing I've ever read. Why would an MMA fighter only trade punches with a boxer? That would be called boxing. lol.
Just look what happened when Francois Botha entered MMA. He got taken down and submitted in the 1st round by a no name japanese fighter with zero experience.
Stupid comparison. Different sports.
