this is something that annoys me in all sport. when two teams or people who are supposed to be at the top of there game(or some what close to it) face off and the the one team/person dominates the contest, why does it always come down to the loser being shot or injured or what ever excuse. why is the reason of such one sidedness not stated, as what i think is the real reason in most cases, that the winner was just to good at that time and did not let the loser get into there usual rythem. for me 9 times out of ten i feel that the better team/person just got it right that night and the inadequesie of the loser is solely down to how good the winner was.
You can't compare something like that, Floyd is pretty much the benchmark for ppv sales of anyone not named dlh or tyson. Those two were at a totally different leauge. That being said the Mayweather/Hatton sales will say alot about floyd's marketing strategy as of now.
i dont think the sales of the mayweather hatton fight come into it as hatton fans will take up 2/3 of that arena and thats a minimum. the english have an uncanny habit and way of snapping up nearly every ticket for a large event.
