Roy Jones Jr, James Toney, and Bernard Hopkins were leaps and bounds greater than Joe Calzaghe. Joe has no power therefor he would never beat those three, i mean i guess it would be possible for him to steal a decision based on workrate alone but if judging effective punches he doesnt win 2 rounds against any of those three.
Roy Jones the best of them all.
I think this time must to be fair for both boxers, the weight must to be 147 lbs no less no more. Is time Pac lets the weight adventage out.
It doesn't matter. Floyd will still not make a contracted weight. But I feel, no more catchweight......
Before pac is #1 and floyd #2 when they switched the spot without fighting each other u are saying that the yahoo sports are right and now that they switched their position without fighting each other it's pointless? :lol1:
It's politics.................
Pacman has stated that his boxing career is winding down & that he looks forward to retiring soon. Pacman holds a office seat and looks forward to helping his country, he also claims that his mother doesnt want him to fight anymore after this year.
Will this be Pacmans last fight come Nov 13, 2010?
His last fight will be floyd. That's for sure.
So how can he be labled as a cheater? Wraps or no wraps Cotto has no defense, no head movement. Anybody who takes punches to the head at will for 11 rounds is gonna get f*cked up wraps or no wraps....
I had Cotto winning rounds until he gassed out.
Pacman is a risk taking fighter. And that's what people like. People pay to see actions not boxing clinic. If you think he has bad defense, but he wins, that all that matters.
so if you throw more punches your better?
Most of pacman's knock down score are coming from exchange of punches. I'm sure May will not exchange with Pac.
We have same observations But I guess these are all hypothetical.
I never said Pac has slipped as much as Marg. I am saying from a Pac fans point of view, he has slipped. I have seen many of his fights and just noticed the speed is less and his face is showing more damage.
If you don't care what Clottey was doing then perhaps you don't box yourself which is Okay with me.
Here's a boxing lesson 101.
Punching someone who is there to be hit is a lot easier than missing. When you miss you get more tired. Since Clottey was in his gaurd, of course Pac will punch him.
Pac has slowed down, do some research if you are nto sure.
This is not fun and games, this is a debate.
I agreed Marg has slipped mroe than Pac, but to act like Pac has not is ludicrous. Infact it is dumb to think that Pac at his age has not slipped physically.
ooohh please.... manny has to agree. but manny must make another term with mayweather. put mayweather on a gender test.
I agree........Put mayweather on a gender test
if u got power, u got power, size doesn't matter. if u get hit with a perfect shot u go down. all it needs is timing and techinque. look at david and goliath. shit!!!
Power is power. It is the nature of pacquiao.
Antonio Margarito is a solid opponent for Manny Pacquiao. He's a three time welterweight champion with a load of experience versus top level talent (Sergio Martinez, Kermit Cintron, Paul Williams, Miguel Cotto, & Shane Mosley).
While I believe he's past it based on his last fight, did we not think the same thing about Mosely after his fight with Mayorga?
I'm taking Manny by a unanimous decision, but the size difference between the two is reason for concern. If Margarito's chin holds up, he could very well walk Manny down.
I agree. Margacheto is very big and I think Pac is way beyond the limit even if its catchweight.
Flomos!!!!!
How was it not an issue when puckiao refused to take it? You make it sound as if FLoyd magically knew that would deter Pacquiao from the fight :lol1:
