I was extremely impressed with him. He has a nice high guard and does all the basics very well. He kept banging that solid right hand and he seems to carry decent power even though his record doesn't really suggest that. I was also impressed with his stamina as in the championship rounds he was still fresh.
But...Witter was not at the races that night. I knew he had a problem with consistancy, but on Saturday he didn't seem to know what to do. He wasn't listening to his corner and seemed disheartened as his dream fight with Hatton started to fade away. I'll keep an eye on Bradley and see how he does, I reakon he could be around for a long time.
Not really. It's always been a bit messy, Irish citizens are considered as 'commonwealth' for purposes of joining the British armed forces, as well.
Yeah, but I mean from the Irish side. Fighting for a title that takes its name from something that is despised in your country seems a bit strange to me.
I find the case of Rogan quite interesting. He was fighting for the commonwealth title, but its obvious he considers himself Irish...abit contentious considering the History between Britian and Ireland.
Also, if you are born in N. Ireland under the good Friday agreement you are able to choose whether you are British or Irish. The John Duddy case is an example of this.
hahahaha no one wants to pay for that big mouthed prick.
don't blame them.
Yeah, because those hard hitting, entertaining fighters who throw any form of defence out of the window make for terrible fights. Dumbass.
