Oscar De La Hoya by absolutely no doubt. That's one of the reasons i've never been a big RJJ fan. Yeah, he beat my boy Toney and some others, but for the most part i always though a lot of other fighters fought way better and tougher competition.
De La Hoya fought Whitaker,Chavez 2x,Mosley 2x,Vargas,Pacquiao,Mayweather Jr.,Ike Quartey,Ruelas,Trinidad,Mayorga etc. etc. To me that's what makes a top level fighter, win lose or draw you actually have to fight some real competition over and over.
yeah i was watching Gatti vs De La Hoya and you can see the hat in the crowd. I mean, he might be a really cool guy and all i was just wondering what the story is with the ****ing hat! :dunno:
Awesome record. The only thing i'm getting tired of is how people are trying to downplay Mosley absolutely destroying Margarito. Margarito was supposed to be unstoppable and unbreakable, and Shane whooped that ass. Now people are all like, oh, Margarito's one dimensional and, oh Margarito just stood and their and took those punches, excuse after excuse. A ****ing Ko is a Ko. I didn't see anyone else do that to Margarito, did you?

I'm 27, and I was born in '81 and i remember always being interested in boxing. I remember growing up watching USA Tuesday Night Fights and then watching the fights on HBO. So pretty much as long as I can remember. It's always been my favorite sport. I'm white and like they say in the Naked Gun, never bet on the white guy!
WTF are you talking about only cotto gave people a chance when he didn't have to? What the **** was Forrest and Wright? I've always felt shane was under-rated and under-appreciated. The man always tries to go for a knock out and always tries to fight with all he can.
And everyone can **** off with roidsley bullshit. Roy Jones Jr and countless other fighters have tested positive for banned substances too, but no one ever brings that up every ****ing post.
I hope it doesn't bomb either. As a fan of the sport first, I hope the PPV's,the fight coverage and everything sell as well as they can so we can keep getting great fights.
