Danny has a fight this month so we will see...DG is a easy win
DG has an interesting, flat footed counter punching style where he slips punches and shoots his shots at the same time as the other fighter. And he has power.
I think if DG beats Pacquiao then everyone says HE beat an old guy.
If Pac looks like he did against Thurman but loses...I think he will still be respected as a top fighter.
As long as he doesn't get old in 1 night like B HOP.
I think Danny G is next for him. He will get all the credit if he wins. Pacquiao has never been short changed. If anything, novist are more inclined to create fables for him like he is a superhero.
Guys who beat Pac can't be given props but should Pac win.....almost not worth fighting Pac.
Biggest payday of that fighters career though and a PPV event
Haha. I guess I wasn't really interested in this fight until recently. I feel like they are the UK version of mayweather vs Pacquiao. The 2 best things coming from over there. And let's remember that Brook beat Porter. I think he's earned a spot with the elites.
Have you been living under a rock? Even a 2 year old can tell Khan has been ducking brook
I dont pay much attention to khan but I think Brook can hold his own with thurman, porter, garcia, and even crawford
I'd still like to see it. Brook has only lost to GGG(bad career decision taking that fight) and Erroll Spence(was winning when it was stopped). Brook has beaten Shawn Porter. Brooks last fight(December 2018) was an easy decision over the guy that KO'd Jeff Horn yesterday.
Had he not fought GGG his career would have been better, he would have lasted against spence and might have even won it.
he was damaged goods after the Ggg fight
I agree but he got an easy decision in his last fight over zefara. Zefara KO'd Jeff Horn yesterday.
Zefara KO'd Jeff Horn yesterday. Can we give Brook some props for beating Zefara in his last fight?
Brook's not washed up. But he doesn't need to fight anymore wars.
I personally loved the fight and I don't think I'm the only one. 90% of the people on this board and fight fans around the world watched it, which shows it was a legitimate fight. I personally think it's a great way to end a career.
he got his 50th win vs a guy who is 0-1. i don't care what anyone says about this fight. it was crap while they were promoting it and it was a crappy looking sloppy fight. He could have fought thurman, garcia, broner, porter, etc...
But he fought a guy who has never fought 10 rounds and he just happen to gas out in 6
Yeah, who was it?
i dont know but all im saying is that i might have ordered it if he fought a boxer. even if it was broner, at least i know they are in the same sport.
I think garcia and broner would be more difficult than mcgregor. It was a circus show from the begining. i am a fan of boxing. This was something else.
Probably like being a true politician and seeing trump get elected.
hardcore boxing fans knew better. i just watched it on youtube and it was even worse than i thought it would be. it looked like a guy who hasn't boxed in years vs a guy who has never boxed. super sloppy.
Jab to the body I'm expecting.
Pull counter too.
We'll see.
Floyd adjusts and goes from there.
I was thinking stomach jabs for the first couple of rounds. Canelo has a tall stance and a really high guard.
Im interested in seeing if Floyd with try to press Canelo cause he's a good counter puncher himself.
if floyd fought like hagler vs hearns he would be 0-44. but he has an arsenal of tricks that are tough to dodge. He's not going to ko anyone over 140. But he can get a UD over anyone under 154.
Before everyone jumps in with he will win by KO and before the thread gets moved or shut down....
When has Floyd had a legit KO...(NO Ortiz)
Hatton? A LWW...7 years ago. But now hes gonna KO a Big strong Canelo? heheheheeeeeeee
He won't ko canelo. He doesn't take those kind of chances. any offensive move floyd makes is followed by a defensive one.
i think martinez can outbox him and when they get into deep rounds chavez will be sapped and cramping from trying to make weight. martinez is to slick to take all those punches lee took.
HUGE welterweight actually. He really should be fight at 60 or 68.
Floyd lives at 150. he's only fought at 154 twice. Against oscar and cotto. I think 160 would nullify his power.
