Both suffered broken orbital bones. Hell, Kell suffered it twice, yet his eyes appear normal? What was different about Margarito's that his eye looks like it was replaced by a glass one and it's just creepy as fuk to look at?
Cuz he was smart enough to discontinue.... While brick head Antonio fought almost to the death.
I feel like fans have no right to look down on him for protecting his health, which extended his career. Who are yall to judge? Now other fighters is different. But fans? Should STFU.
He has to make sure he can keep food on the table for his family. If he suffered permanent damage his career would have been over and no one would give two shyts about him.
Cough Sergio Martinez. Are yall gonna support him and help him find another job? No yall gonna move on.
Basically boxing fans aint ****
despite how much s hit we talk on Marg about cheating, he’ll at least never be known as a quitter. I’m sure a wonky eye is worth that legacy considering he can see from it and it’s not like he was some studly lookin dude. A wonky eye after a lengthy and successful pro fighting career? He’ll be aight.
A cheater but not a quitter.
Longevity, sure. That quitter label lives forever tho.
Victor Ortiz’s kids for example are gonna get s hit for that quittage.
...cheatin’ ass b itch tho
One of them thought about the longevity of their career, their future, and the other one didn't.
One is praised for being a "warrior" by "boxing fans" the other one is considered a "quitter."
That is the difference between the two.
Because Margarito took his beating and karma like a man. He went the full 12.
Kell Brook stopped so he would not be the next Marg.
Pac landed like 420 power punches on Marg that night lmao.
Imagine another 300 punches on Kell. That’ll do the trick
before we immediately jump to racism....
Antonio Margarito underwent successful surgery on his fractured right orbital bone at Methodist Hospital in Dallas
IT WAS THE METHODISTS!
Because they are two different injuries. Brooks sustained injuries to both orbital bones without damaging the orbits. While on the other hand, Margarito sustained trauma to one of the orbits itself which is a far more dangerous injury that can lead to blindness than a broken orbital bone; If he his not already partially blind.

With all do respect, there seems to be quite a difference in the respective doctors they saw.
lol, you think that's it? In other words, Margarito's Dr. should be done because his eye looks terrible post repair. You couldn't tell Kell had any surgery to his eyes...
