Sounds like you're wishing a lot of these things were true when they really aren't. No one but Pacquiao himself can shut this guy up so he's going to keep talking until Pacquiao does something.
I don't understand half the words he says. I just have a good laugh watching him.
Pacquiao don't even know this guy. It might be his fantasy but that's never going to happen ever. i don't and never even watched this guy against anyone ever. The only thing I ever remembered about this guy was his hair stunt, what an idiot. Oh and his whining about losing to Juan Diaz. What a loser. Never watched his boring, useless fights.
Now he entertains me with his "Special" condition when he speaks and twitches. LOL.
He doesn't sound drunk at all when he speaks. He's not slurring or anything. I'd argue that Pacquiao has taken more clean blows to the head than Paulie has careerwise.
I think he's trying to bait Pacquiao into a fight though. Pacquiao should consider it and get with HBO.
To me he sounds drunk or stoned. He stutters and twitches and rumbles a 100 words a minute, stumbling along the way.
Like I said I get a good laugh watching and listening to him. He has what we call a "Special" condition. LOL
He probably gets depressed quite often too, poor guy.
I love watching Malignaggi make a fool of himself, what a dumbass, LOL.
We can kinda understand that he's taken a lot of big shots in the head, that's why he sounds stoned or drunk all the time when he speaks.
I just get a good laugh listening to him, LOL.
Exactly!
Nacho knows boxing.
Mayweather is an excellent actor. His running away and holding and pretend punches with no substance fooled those who don't know boxing or those who wanted to be fooled like Malignaggi.
According to the fool Malignaggi it was a blowout, LOL.
No one is going to outspeed, outwork, outstamina, outpower Pacquiao. The only way you will get a chance will be if you slug it out, you might get lucky and land a KO punch. That's a big risk many have tried and many have failed, ie: diaz, hatton, cotto, bradley. A few did not take the risk and they failed anyways, ie: dela hoya, margarito, clottey, mosley, rios.
Marquez was willing and he was rewarded.
I just don't see Mayweather willing to take that kind of risk, I have never seen it from him. He's a safety first one shot puncher, maybe at the most two punch combo. When Pacquaio throws his 10 punches under 2 second combination, Mayweather will be in his Philly shell. Pacquiao's weird angles and looping punches can penetrate that shell.
After what happened to Mayweather against Maidana, I don't think we will ever see this fight, ever.
I'm seeing Mayweather retiring in the near future. I'm sure after he finds some time to reflect, he will make the right decision.
The guy is set for life and there is no need for him to take anymore risks with his health.
At the post fight presser, Mayweather said he was going home for a massage, then laughed and said maybe massaged every day for the next week. That comment was very telling on how beat up he was. The way he got beat up in the body the guy was probably pissing blood. Hardest fight for Mayweather.
By the way there's a video showing Maidana chilling with friends, wearing glasses and playing a card game right after the fight like nothing ever happened. Easiest fight for Maidana.
You're right.
Based on effective punching, Maidana won the fight. But I knew he probably won't be given the decision and I think he knew that.
He would have had to take it by KO. It's a sad sport.
It's funny how Pacquiao lost the first Bradley fight though, isn't it?
When Mayweather was asked if this was his hardest fight he pretty well agreed, saying the Cotto fight might have been tougher as Cotto hit harder.
Now they didn't ask Maidana but if they did, he would have answered that it was probably one of his easiest fights. Usually when Maidana finishes a fight his face looks pretty beat up, he did not feel any of Mayweather's punches in this fight. The easiest 1.5 mil he ever earned.
The face tells you what really happened in this fight. Mayweather's was all beat up with lumps. Maidana's was clean like he just came from the gym.
Based on this physical evidence, who do you think should have won the fight?
I got a feeling we might see this. Oscar and Arum are talking now, so this is definitely possible.
Oscar can make a big statement with this move against Schaefer and Hamon.
Physical evidence holds some weight, but it's not everything. Floyd's face was more bruised up against Cotto, than it was Maidana. But Maidana fought the better fight with his aggression.
Maidana threw more punches but landed about similar amount to Mayweather based on compubox. The big factor when scoring is the effect of those punches. To me you could clearly see all of Maidana's punches were thrown with bad intentions, Mayweather's on the other hand were weak. Maidana also landed very heavy to the body.
This isn't amateur boxing where you score points everytime you land no matter how ineffective.
The physical evidence on Mayweather's face and Maidana's face just reinforced what I saw in that fight, Maidana beat Mayweather.
Time for Mayweather to retire. Time for him to take care of his health.
Once he's out of the way maybe we can start seeing real fights that the fans want to see. I think some of his recent fights have been scripted, work of Al Haymon.
Mayweather retire and get out of the way already and let's have Maidana v. Pacquiao, that should be a great fight.
There won't be any BS about health, peds, gloves, promoters, ppv numbers, etc...
This is the fight fans would like to see. Maidana should forget Mayweather since he clearly won the fight.
Time to leave Mayweather in the dust. He looked pathetic in that press conference with all the excuses and trying to justify his bad performance.
Maidana should make a great business decision now and take advantage of his performance. Make the fights fans want to see. Maidana vs Pacquiao would be a great fight, fans would like to see this. Pacquiao will also let Maidana wear MX gloves, and Pacquiao his Cleto.
There's going to be blood and brutality and more likely a knockout.
Look at that face. Not a mark from the pitypat punches. Can't say the same from the brutalized Mayweather, he most likely peed blood.
People know who won that fight. All praises to Maidana.
Only the ones who drink the Mayweather koolaid thinks he won. And they try to convince themselves and others that it was all part of Mayweather's plan to excite the fans, LOL. When Mayweather fights the only thing they see in that ring is Mayweather.
What I saw on the video was a very sad looking Mayweather. In deep thought. In shock. Contemplating his future, his health. Everyone else also looked pretty sad. They tried to make it upbeat with those claps once in awhile.
Everyone in that room, including Mayweather looked so down and sad. They knew what really went on in that ring.
Good for Thomas Hauser in bringing this up again. He needs to keep bringing it up every couple of weeks.
It seems like the people involved, Mayweather, USADA, NSAC are all keeping quiet, hoping it would just all silently go away.
We know the truth. Facts all point to only one possible explanation why he took an IV of close to 1 liter into his blood. USADA also knew what was going on and they covered it up. USADA had to know because that's what they do for a living. If idiots like us can figure it out, they as professionals for sure knew and knows what really is going on.
And don't forget that this is such an embarrassment for all involved in boxing that they are all just hoping it would go away. The money that everyone made, from the networks to the promoters to the sanctioning bodies to the commission. Just imagine that these people have to face the fans who got suckered and paid hundreds of millions and tell them that Mayweather is a cheat. It's probably not going to happen.
Unless a criminal investigation is carried out, these people will stay silent hoping it would just fade away.
Thomas Hauser you must continue reminding everyone about this cheat.
Not only was Fraud a cheat.
Did you watch the fight? I have never seen two supposedly elite boxers try their very best not to hit each other. Missing wildly when the guy in front of them is hardly moving.
What a scam. Floyd and Berto knows it.
Hauser needs more than what he has which is nothing , he needs mainstream to pick it up and for some reason they are not and Hauser is on his own beating a drum , why is that ?
You just need to read USADA's response to know the basic facts that took place. USADA obviously is putting a spin to it because they're not going to admit that their corrupt.
The facts are:
1. Mayweather did not look dehydrated at the weigh-in, he wasn't gulping fluids as though he was dehydrated. I've seen a lot of dehydrated boxers during weigh-in and Mayweather looked more than healthy.
2. Mayweather took in 750 ml of saline and whatever after the weigh-in. RED FLAG!!
3. USADA allowed him to do it which was against WADA. RED FLAG!!
4. USADA did not inform NSAC or Pac's team. RED FLAG!!
5. USADA provided TUE two weeks after the fight when it's NSAC that should be doing that before the fight. RED FLAG!!
6. USADA an organization that's suppose to catch and prevent things like this from happening actually aided and hid it for Mayweather. RED FLAG!!
USADA can try to spin this but the basic facts stand.
Anyone here watches ESPN's 1st take? I can't even watch a minute of it. Stephen A Smith always trumpets the same ish.."If Floyd gets robbed" SMH, he's not gonna get robbed at MGM lol...
You know what he's trying to do there, don't you? Holyfield was harping the same thing. They're not leaving any stones unturned for Mayweather.
Basically what they're trying to do is influence the judges right here and now before the fight. They're basically whispering in their ears.
Round Three of legends Stallone and Merchant sharing their bold opinions on the fight. What***8217;s yours?

Tecate | Stallone vs. Merchant: Round 1
Didn't realize Stalone was a Mayweather guy, I've always thought he was a Pacquiao fan. Now this is interesting because just a few days ago he watched Pacquiao spar for 12 rounds. Roach broke their own rule and let someone watch them spar.
I was suspicious of this guy during the Algieri fight because he was openly for Algieri, he then goes into the Pacquiao dressing room just before the ring walk and tells Pacquiao he wants to put him in the next Expendable movie. Now that's a very odd place to mention something like that and my impression was he wanted to distract Pacquiao. And as far as I know nothing was ever mentioned about that movie again.
This is what I see. Mayweather did not want this fight.
If you listenened carefully to Espinosa at the news conference, he said that part of the 6 fight contract with Mayweather had to be a fight with Pacquiao. Floyd had no choice, showtime basically came in to collect. So after 5 yrs of trying to make the fight here we are.
Now let me break it down why I think Mayweather loses in a bad way.
1. Lack of confidence in himself. Why? He thought Pacquiao was so good it had to be PEDs and now he hires Pacquiao's old conditioning coach and also Heredia to get the advantage or to keep the so called advantage away from Pacquiao. And he will lose more of that confidence once he starts feeling Manny's punches.
2. He doesn't like to fight harder or train harder, these are words from his own mouth. Instead he likes to fight smarter and train smarter. Well there's no replacement for simple hard work, Manny is going to bring it for the full 12 rounds, perpetual motion, if he didn't put in the hard work, he won't last. Pacquiao will dictate the pace and I can't see him surviving that pace.
3. He's reluctant to exchange and will cover up during an attack. That might be fine for one or two punches and against slower guys but it will be a problem against someone who is fast and throws in combinations, non stop and through his guard.
4. Movement. Pacquiao moves around a lot. Mayweather hasn't fought anybody with that kind of movement.
Most people who have been to Mayweathers gym and watched him train for a day are in awe of how hard he works, he's always been praised for working like the devil and training like he's poor.
As for training smarter rather than harder, that's to prevent over training and peaking early, burning himself out, which is something most top S&C coaches can't stress the importance of enough.
But all the videos I have ever seen of him training in his gym are not really impressive unless he was intentionally showing lackluster training for whatever reason.
They are so unlike Manny's training, where you get the impression he can throw hard punches non stop for 12 rounds.
His conditioning will be tested May 2, can he keep up?
What was that about? Sipping that empty coffee cup non-stop through the duration of the news conference. Was he a little nervous? I'm kinda starting to feel sorry for Floyd.
How do you know his cup was empty?
There was a close up of the cup as he was moving it around his hands and flipping it sideways to read the sides of the cup. I've done the same thing before when you have an empty cup. It's not the same way as when you handle a cup with still some left.
So what I got from that news conference from Espinosa is that Mayweather was basically forced to take this fight. Part of the contract with showtime was that one of the fights had to be against Pacquiao. He was down to the last two fights and he had nowhere to go, he basically was forced to take the fight.
looks like the mgm people barred pacquiao from participating in the "grand arrival" festivities prior to the fight, which normally takes place with both fighters participating. al haymon got that money tho
Sounds more like Arum having a tantrum and deciding not to participate.
Floyd would be a fool to try and walk down Manny
That's what Manny would want, Mayweather coming forward but I doubt we'll see that. I see Mayweather on his backfoot and Manny having to chase and catch. I think Manny will be in better condition and will sooner or later catch him.
I don't think Mayweather will be able to match Manny's footwork and punch output. I expect perpetual motion from Manny and there's just no way Mayweather could withstand it.
