1. you dont know boxing
2. there was no way maiadna was going tow in on the scorecards regardless....he's facing the biggest star in boxing, he had to go for it
I think most think Floyd won.
Press row scores not out yet but from the ones I've seen most thought Floyd won the fight because he did win the fight.
Floyd had a very slow start and lost a majority of the first 6 rounds (Think of Floyd fans excuses on Castillo fight).
If you give Maidana 4-2 in first 6 rounds, with that alone, Floyd couldn't have won this fight unless he pulled a 6-0 or 5-1 in the last 6 rounds ..... and he didn't do that.
Even with those pathetic judges, for 2 judges, Floyd won 4-2 in the last 6 rounds. Not 6-0 and not 5-1.
.
mayweather wasnt more effective in all honesty. maidanas body work and big right hands were more effective, pot shotting a few shots a round doesnt win u the fight u have been brain washed
Nor does throwing wildly for a whole round and missing almost every shot of course paulie said that because thats the way he fights but I still think mayweather won the fight and i think he wins easily in the rematch. One thing we cant lose sight of is mayweather might been little slower less powerful but the real reason he was having problems was maidana he was impressive

I think Floyd won. But it wasn't domination. The fight was a close one. Maidana's pressure and physical toughness was good. He didn't care if he was missing or not, he tried to keep busy.
I thought the 114-114 reflected the most accurate score only because the fight was closer than the other two judges had it.
But no doubt Mayweather won this fight.
Ya I thought so at first but when I watched the fight a 2nd time I can see a wider score where as last night I had mayweather winning by 1 or 2 rounds. I thought it would be a majority draw but mayweather won that fight
i thought maidana won as well. chino was more active and bringing the fight to fraud. fraud did not do enough for him to get the nod from the judges.
Oh well its Las Vegas…
Effective punching is now chopping punches to the back of the head? Mayweather was a more effective puncher in all honesty.

I think floyd won maidana had his spots obviously and I probably gave him more rounds then most but floyd landed the cleaner shots maidana was throwing wildly all night I dont see that as controlling the fight and you cant punish floyd because he was so dominant before this fight that dont mean he lost. How did you score it anyway what rounds did you give floyd?
It was a close fight, my problem with last night was Tony Weeks seemed to step in and break them up way too early and he did it a lot. Just let them fight.

no he did not

because he landed the more powerful punches and was more effective
how did floyd win
When? He was very ineffective. Throwing wild ass sh1t that's smothered or just completely misses is not effective.
You're right.
Based on effective punching, Maidana won the fight. But I knew he probably won't be given the decision and I think he knew that.
He would have had to take it by KO. It's a sad sport.
It's funny how Pacquiao lost the first Bradley fight though, isn't it?
I think most think Floyd won.

How exactly?
