Pacquiao is faster, more accurate, and could last 12 rounds with 80-100 punches per round. But he will not rehydrate to 165 lbs just like Maidana did. And he would definitely not rough Mayweather up. Having said that, would he beat Mayweather? I say it will be as close but Pacquiao will get the majority decision But if Pacquiao fights Maidana... it would not even be close. Not my fault some user name Liu Kang decided to bust my balls and neg me with his 2000+ rep. First of all Pacquaio will not get past Maidana jab and Maidana's head movement. Maidana body punches will crumble Pacquaio and we know Pacquaio can not take body shots. Pacquaio is also very susceptible to the overhand right and jab to the body as Marquez set it up ad Bradley hit him with uppercuts . They were both slow telegraphed punchers and Maidana is much more faster, hit harder and come with punches from all angles. He also can fight backwards. Maidana has the tools to beat Pacquaio and I hope PAC don't sign with Arum so this fight can possibly happen. all of a sudden Maidana's a top p4p fighter.

LMAO at Floyd counter punching skills is overrated. He counter punches by one punch one at time then reset. He will never win like that against a fast more accurate combination puncher like Pac because he either can block that one punch or slip and return 4-8 punches combination of his own while health comes first in shell mode. By the time he got enough Pac with his fast footwork is nowhere there to be hit but in awkward position ready to repeat the onslaught. With his health comes first mentality no wonder he never counter punched in combination stood on his ground willing to get hit in returm even if he was cornered on the ropes. He is more corcerned of not getting hit than return the favor. Pac throws fast combination and Marquez neutralizes Pac by counter punching in combination. He is willing to get hit in the process so he can land his own. That is why their fights were always close. Look at the way Marquez counter punched Pac and Floyd counter punched Maidana. Big difference! Now insert Pac with Cleto Reyes gloves instead of Maidana last Saturday night against pillow gloved Floyd.

Not disagreeing with you but the shots Maidana was able to land puts a clearer picture that Pac being more accurate and a combination puncher could/would pose problems for Floyd. It's no different to people comparing JMMs style with Floyds to justify Floyd beating Pac..they fight nothing alike where the only similarity is JMM can counter punch well against Pac.

No one is going to outspeed, outwork, outstamina, outpower Pacquiao. The only way you will get a chance will be if you slug it out, you might get lucky and land a KO punch. That's a big risk many have tried and many have failed, ie: diaz, hatton, cotto, bradley. A few did not take the risk and they failed anyways, ie: dela hoya, margarito, clottey, mosley, rios. Marquez was willing and he was rewarded. I just don't see Mayweather willing to take that kind of risk, I have never seen it from him. He's a safety first one shot puncher, maybe at the most two punch combo. When Pacquaio throws his 10 punches under 2 second combination, Mayweather will be in his Philly shell. You have it backwards. Floyd is all wrong for Manny. Manny throws punches and leaves himself open. He can't beat a great counter puncher. Marquez is a very good counter puncher, but he's no Mayweather when it comes to counter punching. Also, Mayweather is 100 times the defensive fighter that Marquez is. Mayweather would have an easier time than people think against Manny. Bradley is not the best boxer in the world and gave Manny A LOT of trouble. but tim got 10 times more balls than floyd.... fear and the desire to run take away the counterpunch... floyd is no jmm when it comes to heart....

Style wise..Speed, power, movement, angles, punch output. I always favored Floyd if they fought years ago but the more I think about it I think about it I can't see how Floyd would have beat him throwing a few shots here and there. Manny would have pressed the action and either Floyd stands his ground and goes toe to toe like Marquez did in 4 fights or Manny wins rounds with his punch output and clean left hands. He's really the only guy I could see taking a decision against Floyd. And, if Floyd went toe to toe he would have got hurt IMO. if floyd would of fight pac like that he wouldnt see the 12th rd. pac throws punches from every angle.
