as for switching up
to be honest man i think i was more instinct that sparring match then anything... because of nerves and rust and everything... i think it was more natural, ill try to commit more towards one...
though one thing i was thinking is when he was shelled up like that, like mayweather gets... maybe i could have/should have switched to orthodox and thrown a straight right hand down the pipe...
or in your guys's opinion what would be the best thing to do then, my boy freddy (holding the camera) says just go to the body... but my power is pretty weak and i think it might be uneffective compared to just shooting a good right hand down the pipe, or maybe a right cross to the body...

as for charlie... hes not even on my radar until he wins a fight... Im doing my thing, not sure i should get cought up with that cartoon boxing circle... decided against it.
Sucks because im not going to lie a big part of me wanted to get signed by slugoutboxing and get some easy touches... get a decent looking record of like 5-0... because down here in the imperial valley seems like EVERYONE fights and EVERYONE is good so it would be harder to be brought along in a way i can still learn as i go...
but im gonna do it that way, hopefully i am good enough...
its been real rough lately here.... i havnt been called back for a job, getting tired of sleeping on a floor... my money is running out, i think im going to do some quick cage fights just for some money to keep afloat awhile longer till i get a job... ive never been one to fight purely for money... its always been about more for me, and it feels weird and bad to fight just to live so to speak but i think its what i will have to do....

lol!! nah man not trying to suck up just being serious... hes actually the one that got me into boxing for the most part.... I was heartbroken when he fought mayorga because mayorga is one of my favs too.... but had to go with vargas... went to the fight... and it hurt but at least he saw the final bell in the condition he was in... im glad he retired, and had been calling for it since the javier fight...
glad hes retired now though i miss him.
well guys i made it.... it was a heck of a journey lol... but im in el centro california, started doing light workouts last week and will start in the actual gym eather today or tomorrow... im excited but nervous.
Seems i picked up a lot of bad habits in my off years.... like keeping my elbows out too much... and my stance is all messed up... so ive got some rust to take care of. When I was young, we were at least smart enough not to take video of ourselves showing how goddamned stupid we were. That shit is going to come back to haunt some of you guys, if you ever grow mature enough to have a family, life, etc. Or, God Forbid, you run for putlic office.

Just a warning... virtually every other fighter who says they are going pro on this board ends up becoming a laughing stock, because, for some reason, a lot of people on this board feel the need to be assholes to people who actually try to participate in the activity.

I am about 5'10'' and right now im at 175 with clothes on... that video i was much more muscular... if i had to compare a build i would say im just built average or slightly muscular.. maybe like quintana or so. (wish it was more like judah lol)

Pavliks two best wins are Miranda and Taylor arguably... Abraham just blasted Miranda at a higher weight in less time then Pavlik did it...
Having to fight Taylor whos not even a middleweight at this point is making him jump through circles to get to pavlik
They are the two best in the division... yes... beating miranda does get you a shot at the champion when you beat him quicker and its the champions second best win, your a fellow champion, undefeated, and the clear #2 in the division.
