Having to fight Taylor whos not even a middleweight at this point is making him jump through circles to get to pavlik They are the two best in the division... yes... beating miranda does get you a shot at the champion when you beat him quicker and its the champions second best win, your a fellow champion, undefeated, and the clear #2 in the division. Prolonging their showdown so he can go up in weight again and fight taylor is bogus

I like this scenario. AA made his splash, and people remember Sturm gettin fucked against DLH. A unified champ emerging from that fight challenging kelly makes a lotta sense. But AA said he's gonna do the Marquez fight and Pavlik wants an Ohio homecomin fight so I agree the chances of this are slim. Exactly, Abraham will have his mandatory to deal with, who shouldn't give him much trouble plus Sturm's and Abraham's promoters wouldn't be able to agree on the terms for the fight anyway.

I think it would be a good idea to put AA against a taylor or someone close to his abilities before pavlik. not saying miranda is garbage (he doesnt have much technical ability but a ton of heart) but arthur shouldnt get a free pass...he should fight taylor. that would be a good fight in my opinion. Taylor's a SMW now. And if Pavlik can fight a Lockett, he can most certainly fight AA. Let's make it happen.

I think LH is his limit. He won't ever beat any elite fighters anyway, but if he plans to keep on fighting, he better get to a weight comfortable to him, or he will die in a fight. He'll be the new Arturo Gatti, fighting at weird catchweights and what not. Then we can deem him the world catchweight champion.
