the straight right obviously. that is one of floyds best and most used weapons in his arsenal. now if you switch to orthodox when you fight floyd though he can still land the punch but it could still limit the number of times he leaves himself open to it... i am no boxing expert or trainer but i always hear the straight right is an orthodox's best weapon against a southpaw so if you can take that away from your opponent(or atleast limit it in any amount) then you have not only improved your defense but also taken away a partof your opponents offense. in a fight i see won on points it can be crucial to who comes out to be the winner

i thought size didnt matter...i thought skill wins fights...atleast thats what team pac said about fighting a much bigger margarito...they said the heavier the better (i know martinez is different and he carries the weight better then margarito) but for pac fans to say its unfair for pac to fight at 156 and that 150 is ok if retarded.....the difference is at 156 both guys will be healthy(pac will come in at whatever weight he wants and sergio will be ok making 156) and at 150 pac will be healthy but martinez drained. as a fan and for all the talk of pac being superior i would want this fight to be fair...fair for both guys...see who has the better skills

skills do win fight but u can be the best skilled fighter in the world, if your going up against someone that is just as skilled as u and outweight u by over 20lbs then good luck, its gonna be a tough fight for u.

What could Marquez have done? Floyd and his team knew the day before he wasnt going to make weight and that he wasnt going to dry out anymore to lose the two pounds he was over. It was either fight or cancel the fight. You think a guy who has trained for 4+ months is going to cancel the biggest fight of his career let alone his biggest payday? Floyd left him in a bad spot and Marquez did what a warrior does and that is suck it up and go fight.
What option did he have other then to demand Floyd lose the two extra pounds? Floyd's team already stated they werent going to lose the two extra pounds no matter what so it was either call off the fight or fight. If Marquez choose to not fight then he spent all thouse months training for nothing and he wont get paid. THe only options then are to fight and get paid or not fight and make nothing.
Well if mayweather is really serious about fighting pac then all i can say is that he must really think/know he can win cause according to everyone here he only fights guys he knows he can beat. So if he is telling pac to step up to the plate then im sure he is confident he will win.
As to duckng mosley im sure he will fight him but after he fights pac. I think floyd knows mosley is the tougher fight and well why fight him when if you lose you can pretty much kiss any negotiating leverage and money you can make fighting pac goodbye. The zero in his record is his money maker his claim to greatness. He is just a smart man making smart choices.
