Pacquiao YET AGAIN training as an ORTHODOX

I can't believe how fluent he looks, for someone that was soo one dimensional and very very left handed 5, 6 7 years ago. It shows the mark of the man's talent, he continues to impress me. I never thought he was capable of what he is now technically. I suppose that is also the steroids lol. People need to give him the benefit of the doubt until proven guilty, everyone must realise this man is a very serious threat to the mosley-mayweather winner.

It's not the stance that matters but it is how you fight and use it.

If Pacquiao fights Clottey as a switch-hitter or even orthodox fighter it will be majorly impressive (unless he bollockses it all up and gets his arse handed to him that is).

there's a difference b/t style and stance. style is how you fight. stance is more body positioning and placement besides, i dont think manny's trying to change his entire style, just adding new elements to it. pls continue to school mr boxing history then give me a go signal once he know boxing. thanks :lol1:

I'm far from a hater. It's funny how..if a person don't pick your favorite fighter then they are a hater. Y'all get all sensitive and start catching feelings like this fighter is somehow making your life better. As far as Pacquaio showing how much he wants and can learn...whatever...This is a part of strategy. They know southpaws don't bother Clottey. Freddie Roach is changing things up because he knows he has to. okay okay then why is it you act like they are doing something wrong. He mastered one style so he is trying to learn another one huh? Freddie Roach is changing things up because he knows he has to. nothing really bothers clottey. doesnt matter if his opposition is southpaw or orthodox, his defense is tough to crack from both sides. however, judah did give clottey some trouble. especially in the earlier rounds when he was actually throwing punches.

We might see a Pac that dances a lot more than he ever has in this fight.

there is nothing wrong with learning to fight in a different stance. For all we know he's been training like this for years. I mean it was just one 3 min clip.

i love how manny keeps adding more dimensions to his style, but this maybe taking it a bit too far. maybe theyre looking for ways to give clottey different looks to nullify his straight right, which manny has been vulnerable to in the past. interesting development. imagine if manny masters the lead left hook to the body or head. dunno if he'd wanna stay in that stance cuz i dont think his back hand would be strong enough to counter with. i agree but i dont think that roach and manny are taking it a bit too far. if anything, i think its a bit late cause hes learning to fight in a new stance and hes in the final moments of his career while other boxers like cotto and donaire has learned to fight southpaw or orthodox early in their career

what the one punch that pac is open to in a southpaw stance the straight right obviously. that is one of floyds best and most used weapons in his arsenal. now if you switch to orthodox when you fight floyd though he can still land the punch but it could still limit the number of times he leaves himself open to it... i am no boxing expert or trainer but i always hear the straight right is an orthodox's best weapon against a southpaw so if you can take that away from your opponent(or atleast limit it in any amount) then you have not only improved your defense but also taken away a partof your opponents offense. in a fight i see won on points it can be crucial to who comes out to be the winner to me this is just manny and roach getting some time in for the future floyd fight.
