So what we have present is Manny no drink or eat for 2 days near fight for making weight , when doctor say drink water Manny cannot for weight purpose ,,,, hmm so deduction from Pac fan is blood test make weak , this logic by Manny show big holes in explanation of why no have blood test now , this evidence work against Manny not for him
man, i had enough headache last night bcoz of the booze.. ur makin it worse. get a better translator.
Cool, but this is 2005, and Pacman had no quarrels with taking a blood test 14 days before the hatton fight as noted in HBO's 24/7 series.
being 2005 make it more evident that it prolly true.. and it's 24 day.
So you're saying he would take them if it became standard?
I thought the reason he is refusing against Floyd was because he is superstitious and thinks blood tests make him weak?
rules are rules man. i have sayin all along that, if PBF's camp went directly to NSAC with SUPER-DUPER-OLYMPIC-RANDOM type testing instead of haggling about it, this was all over and done.
they barked at the wrong tree.
rules are rules and pac still needs to fight.
I'm not getting it. If he'd just said 'f*ck off' to Floyd's camp then I could understand, but his excuse for not taking the blood tests is because it weakens him.
If it became a standard part of testing would it not weaken him anymore?
weakened or not, he'll take the test. it's the rule. he still needs to fight.
/end of thread
so if I'm assuming the courts will test Manny and if it comes back clean , then that means that he NEVER EVER used steroids or peds? what about when Mosley passed his test? that didn't mean that he NEVER EVER used steroids now did it...explain it a bit more for me.
what's this with the NEVER EVER? is there a (super-olympic-type)test that can tell
that a person NEVER EVER juiced?
that said, even if they both took the SUPER-RANDOM-OLYMPIC-STYLE blood test and both passed, will NOT PROVE that they NEVER EVER juiced BEFORE.
so right now it is strictly a matter of principle that he won't take the tests? It's not about being weakened, superstitous or whatever else?
watda? you quoted me, yet u didnt UNDERSTAND "weakend or not"?
Barrera had two losses to Junior Jones(one by TKO) and two wars with one loss to Morales when he fought Pacquiao so he was not in his "absolute" prime. I can agree he was close but no way was he in his absolute physical prime.
so this does not count?
*quoted from another thread about prime
yorue missing the point here.
apparently, youre not aware of the greatest weapon in pacs arsenal back then, it was his relentless aggression, not exactly his speed. his speed and power compliment his relentless aggression of course but it was his aggression that puts him above any competition back then.
todays pac is a controlled aggression. im not sure you can beat floyd with a controlled aggression, but im certain you can beat floyd with relentless aggression
the relentless agression is prolly the culprit that almost made him lose to marquez.
he wasnt prime MAB when that fight happened. I dont think the Jones fights had much to do with it but he had alot of wars, 2 battles with EM, and then fought some big name cupcakes after that just to pad his resume.
dont you think pac fought some hard battles? so you mean fighting hard fought battles makes you past PRIME?
geez,.. im silly with these PRIMEs
No offence but this thread is kind of dumb. Anyone can lose, that has nothing to do with your prime. Your prime is just your peak and Pac is definatly in his prime. He's far more devoloped now than in any other point in his career and is fighting at a high level in every way
as i said, being PRIME is subjective. unless we someone can come up with "meter" that tells you that you are at your PRIME.
sorry for the dumb thread.
there can never be enough threads about the pound for pound king
so you can just make 10 theads that is exacly the same?
amazing..
there is a thing we call "bump"
