I've looked all over for this but I haven't been able to find out where it came from. When did people start refering to boxing with this phrase, and who started it?

Buddy McGirt has to be right up there...he's turned the careers of so many fighters around.

Unfortunately, I've only been to one. Fortunately, it was Corrales/Castillo. I grew up near mickey ward, but I never saw him fight. :(

After watching Wayne McCullough last night, I'd say he's right up there.
