The new Pac I think Juanma eats canvas. The old Pac would get stretched badly.
agreed.
that fight would've been something,
the one-handed pac was still speedy as hell
and very entertaining to watch.
i really hope he doesn't run for office again here in the Philippines.
I've been a pacfan for as long as i can remember but man is he dumb
outside the ring.
you guys should've heard his interviews when he was campaigning for congress.
i seriously didn't know how to defend him after he made his statements.
if floyd can KO hatton, the so can Pac.
i don't know man, the shot that pbf gave to hatton on that 10th round
was right in the chin.any boxer would tell you that there's no training for that.
once you get hit there its lights out no matter who you are.
then to top it all of, his head hit the corner pretty hard.
pac is a volume puncher but not a precision puncher like floyd.
im not really sure if pac can ko hatton but im pretty positive he can hurt him.
Unfortunately, politics in the Philippines is a popularity contest, it's never about the issues you stand for, or you are against. Money, lots of it, works well too...
i hear you dude.
i just hope that he doesn't f**k up his reputation
if he does decide to run again for office.
manny doesn't just rep the Philippines, the Philippines is manny.
its every pinoy's butt on the line if he screws up...
go outside throw a ball or punch just standing there. then throw a ball or punch stepping into. then come back with the results & tell us how ur little expierment went.
I agree with this.
try throwing a proper straight punch in front of a mirror.
you'd probably notice your leg, hips, then your shoulder rotate as
your arm extends.
I think Discovery channel also mentioned this when they did a show about
all the combat martial arts.
A boxer's power starts from the kinetic energy generated by your legs when you step in, which travels to your hips then to your shoulders then to your
arm and finally to your fists.
They also concluded that out of all the martial arts, boxing creates the most power while muay-thai is the most deadly if i remember it correctly....
Just another totally unbiased thread start with a little poll that will be very revealing. So, who is the better Filipino? Manny Pacquaio or Floyd Mayweather Jr?
huh?
Ok, we were at a company crawfish boil and this ignorant mother****er kept stepping across the line..1st thing he did was throw a tail at me, he threw another tail and then I put him in a mini- choke and let him go. (All I know is boxing, I am not mma.) Ok. I had a case of beer in me and forgot exactly what happened up until I landed the big shot. That was when fight or flight hit me I guess.
After the 3rd time he stepped across the line he tripped me or something and I ended up on the ground..when I turned him around on the ground to make him stop he 'accidentally' poured a sip of beer on my ****ing head...I do not have a shaved head and have a jew fro...so I let him get up, then I walked right over to him and delivered a lead left hook that hit him square on the liver and he is a skinny, tall guy...his stomach was bloated, when my fist hit it sank into it like a water bag. He keeled over, and made sounds that I normally hear people make in public bathrooms taking a shit..He stayed slumped like that for a good three minutes well I said **** it and went to get another beer, then he started puking and my boss and the guy who hosted it were all asking me to leave but I wasn't even causing any trouble anymore. I just had to one shot that mother****er and shut him the **** up. Kids, I'm 26 just learn a lesson from me, if you know you can hit, don't use it on anyone outside the ring...my gf thinks im a total asshole now and I may get fired....Use your training wisely unless you have to truly defend yourself (I didn't)
I have a question for you dude.
Say for example you were a pro and you did just what you did in your story,
what would happen?
Will you be allowed to fight in the ring again?
it would be a bad thing on a pro's career and stuff...im sure alot of legal shit would be a huge problem...but mayweather slapped a woman and he had like five title bouts since then.
and the jewjitsu thing was pretty witty ;)
wow i didn't know that.
I thought pros weren't allowed to use their fists outside the ring
since their fists are considered as "dangerous weapons" or some shit....

Thats why Roach is a very smart guy..
Ok let me get this straight.
most of us agree that the only reason pac obliterated DLH at 147 was because DLH was dehydrated ryt?
so by that logic pac's performance at that weight is still a big question mark,
meaning that we still aren't sure if that extra weight at 147 didn't have an effect on him because DLH just basically stood there and didn't fight.
and we all agree that cotto has trouble making jr WW and so he's basically a true blue WW.
my question is this....
how the hell is it a fair fight at 147 when pac's performance at WW is still questionable and cotto is a true WW?????
yeah sure its harder to lose weight if your a bigger guy.
i get that so that's why it has to be at a catchweight of 144 or 145.
a weight drained cotto is unfair while a bloated pac isn't??????

It's not official yet bro.
Pac called out cotto after the clottey fight.
Arum then proposed a deal to cotto's camp.
They had some probs with the weight initially but roach finally budged
and agreed to a 145 catchweight.
Arum is now presenting the proposal to pac's camp.
There shouldn't really be any problems now.
The fight should be official soon...
would he all of a sudden be a coward? heartless? all of the above? or would it be justified? would you turn on him, or would u show ur hypocrisy? Just wondering..
Mexicans:
if marg were to quit on the stool, with one eye closed and the other cut, would he be a pussy?
Pinoys:
If pac on the stool after taking a savage beating from a bigger puncher, would you want him to go out for another round, only to be finished off? or could it be justified for him to call it a day?
im just wondering thats all....
I seriously don't know man.
I mean I can never imagine pac quitting.
But if he did, I most probably won't hold it against him.
It's him that's getting hit out there man, not me.
But the thing is, what i notice about great fighters is usually they have that "never give-up attitude".
They all know that nobody is gonna hand them that top spot, they have to earn it with blood and sweat.
So I'm really not sure.
I'd probably be really disappointed and would still be a fan but maybe not as big as before he quit....
dont worry, hatton will be fine , he was down for a while but managed to leave the ring on his own.
its the drawn out, sustained beatings that really damage fighters, dont get me wrong this was a nasty KO, but not a life threatening one
i agree.
they said the same thing in one of those discovery channel shows.
one punch knockouts, though spectacular to watch are actually safer than
sustained beatings...
crap!
manny not again!:pat:
you are a good boxer!period!
we dont f**kin need u as a politician!!!
the last thing the Philippines need right now is another freakin' puppet!!
*sigh*
This was evidence that Pac was going to KO Hatton, his hands were low, and his chin has been rocked by Loscano and Malinagi, come on the two feather punching fighters. After Mayweather soften him up, Hatton was not the same fighter, I just hope that Mayweather vs Pac gets made. He was asked after the fight, but he never said Yes I will fight Mayweather. He hid behind with what ever my promoters bullcrap....... Roach, STFU, you just have one fighter that brings you glory, to your so called Great trainer..... Pac fight a fast and slick fighter like yourself to see where you really stand. He has a great promoter and your and exciting fighter, but come on who have you really beat, and pac fans don't give me this BS that he fought Morales and Barrera please....... Just my thoughts.... like always bring it on Pac fans.
oh for crying out loud dude.its obvious you don't like pac but man this is just low.
the guy just freakin' demolished hatton in 2 rounds in his natural weight whereas it took pbf 9 boring rounds to finish him.i know that pbf would most likely win if he fights pac and this is coming from a pacfan but dude pls give credit where its due.this is just f**king ridiculous.
