Hopefully its not a snoozer like the Rig fight.
We can see if theres a big difference between Rig and Gamboa.
I was a big fan of Rigo before his last fight.
But, Gamboa has never really had a lackluster/boring fight.
Even his fights that go the distance, he shows spurts of just how talented he really is.
dude from GP never ceases to amaze. he (or they?) have def. made a name for themselves by putting out quality fukkin vids. if they keep doin' what they do and continue to develop their personal brand, the money(and lots of it) will start flowin' in.
mad props.
I really used to like him, how can you watch Boxing and not find this guy entertaining. But since the Hoya fight all the nut munchers have emerged and just ruined it, I now want Pacquiao to lose not because I hate him but because of his nut munching fans, they are driving me nuts. Biggest bunch of babies I have ever come across.
Dawg....u know that makes absolutely no sense right? Your comment actually shows your weak mindset, realistically. There's no doubt been a deluge of Pac fans/huggers (I myself am a fan), but to lose loyalty to someone you once admired over the opinions of others is simply childish...
If Mayweather said.. I want to whoop Manny ass
And Manny says lets go one on one.. and lets see who the best.
These words are from the fighters..
Why in the hell isnt the fight contract signed yet!!!
Amen brother. sign the damn contract and let's get this fukkin' fight under way.
I'm re-watching old fights cause I am so bored of all this Floyd/Pacquiao talk.
That round was insane, bomb after bomb exchanged. :boxing:
I feel ya, bro. It's just a shame that this thread will get completely overlooked right now. NSB is a fukkin' war zone right now.
Imma go watch Hearns knock out Duran right now b/c of this post.
nah mane...it was a good one.
However, i think the 24/7 series' that involve lil Floyd are way more entertaining. The thing that makes the 24/7 show so popular is the transparency u get with each fighter and corresponding camp. U cant really argue that there are truly more entertaining characters than Roger and Floyd Sr.
I do like to see the training Pac does in the show, though.
entertaining fights are a whole 'nother story....
Describe to me EXACTLY - with words - how that is a clueless suggestion.
The man's countrymen and family were devestated by a natural disaster, and in turn he pulls out from his scheduled fight. Obvious decision, but how can you deny the benefits of going through with the fight. Winning or losing is not a concern of his at the moment, obviously, so it's not as if he's afraid of going forward for lack of focus or time in training. It offers him a WORLDWIDE stage from which he can raise awareness for relief efforts in Haiti and at the same time make a shit load of money which could be utilized by the red cross, or his own personal relief efforts.
Argue that honestly.
Look, your overall idea sounds good in theory. But the magnitude of his current situation is waaaaayyy beyond your comprehension as well as mine.
If the dude is unable to train properly due to mental/physical/emotional exhaustion, then let him be. It would only be a bad idea and a serious risk to his health if he were to fight SSM while not undergoing proper training.
I really don't wanna argue point for point w/ you b/c that would be a waste of energy. Just take his decision for what it is....
You're talking about him like he's your girlfriend and I'm making fun of her clubbed fingers. I'm suggesting an alternative to pulling out which would have done MORE for what I would think his ambitions would be.
^^^^ = clueless
Kobe's got that killer instinct and you know he's willing to take on all comers.
He would def. be up for taking on the best competition available while making boatloads of cash along the way.
BTW i've always thought if Kobe were focused on boxing since his youth instead of basketball he would be a truly dominant force.

gamboa's official website...
i just found out about this now searching google.
What do those red/green circles mean on his record page?
