When you look how bad SRL was against hector camacho, you'd forgive pac if he lost badly last night, after 4 years out of ring. Let pac fight spence next
I think that would still be a good fight but for me the safer fight and very winnable is romero.
Thanks, Lou :lol1:
No problem. next fight you will not see the 46 YEARS OLD in the ring but the 47 YEARS OLD giving hell to whatever name he fight next.
I don’t rate Barrios and think he’s a very fortunate world champ but regardless he’s a legitimate WBC world title holder.
I also did not think Manny had any business being back in the ring with a world champion at 46 years old. I think everyone thought this was a bad idea and could only damage the legacy of Pacquiao.
However he proved us all wrong. Pac did more than hold his own, I actually felt he edged the fight and proved he can still hang with one of the best guys at 147. No farces with fake gangsters, reality stars or YouTubers. He actually went in there with an active world champion and proved he could still compete at that level.
Amazingly I actually think this fight enhances his legacy, similar to when Hopkins drew with Pascal despite everyone writing him off. I suspect the rematch is inevitable but I hope Manny walks away. Has nothing left to prove.
I actually believe that pac should have won by atleast 2 points.
This is actually a pretty high point. It goes to show what a weak era the division is in. I know Barrios is the worst of the bunch, but still being a champion. A champion of the NEXT gen. Remember when Pac fought Broner and Thurman? That was already a generation outside of his own. He's moved on to the NEXT gen and is still whoopin a$$ at 46 years old. It goes to show what a beast he was in his younger years and just how much he didn't give a f**k who he was facing.
I don't know if the era is weak or pacman is just still that good even at 46 years old.
It was just a tune up fight for the 46 YEARS OLD, 4 years retired and 2 months of training. Now the soon to be 47 YEARS OLD is ready to any top WW of the division.
If the fight was fixed, the judges wouldn't have given barrios the last 3 rounds on all 3 cards. Wether you like it or not Pacquiao is a legend, and as his name will forever be remembered in the sport of boxing. Remind me,who the **** are you again?
he's just a hater and as much as i like crawford his performance is sub par compared to a 46 years old pacman.
What's the crazy thing about pacman is that at his age he can still hang with all those top 10 boxers at welterweight and still has a chance to kick their asses.
I didn't mean to bully you :(
Ok. This embarrassing one sided destruction has gone on long enough.
I'm going to save you from yourself by ending it.
Also, it got boring AF !!!
See you after Pac's next cherry pick
I know I embarrass you but that's ok you can move on. :beerchug:
Imagine we stick with Pac and eliminate all the what ifs............
No if. Crawford who is a prime lb4lb boxer can carefully pick his opponent and I think a 46 YEARES OLD 4 years retired can also pick his tune up fight.
I thought it was a close bout it could’ve gone either way to me. And the championship rounds clearly went to Barrios.
A draw was a fair decision, I don’t see the outrage or the cry of robbery.
People are just too nostalgic and wanted Pacquiao to win so bad, so they’ll claim robbery. No robbery here. It was a close and competitive fight.
Well most people think it was a robbery.
goes to show pac ain't got that Vegas judge influenced anymore, or never had. only if Manny has that canelo connect where he's already up by 5 rounds on the judges scorecards when the first round begins.
It's sad state of boxing..
