Cotto nithing like Tito, says who?
Cotto worked his way up to the top buddy, look at there first 30 fights. Cotto was in two weight classes defended his belt 8 times in both. Cotto is an awesome fighter man. He is what boxing needs.....Tito is done.

We all know he lost Golden Boy, but the judges were nuts. He lost to hopkins and Winky. thats right I said it- Tito lost Golden Boy and everybody knows it.
The only credit Tito gets, is when he fought Vargas, Vargas was in his prime, but it seems everyone beat Vargas. Vargas was mentally weak.
Also Tito beat a one more fight and I'm retiring Pernal whitaker...

I've been looking at the comments in regards to Boxingscenese news; alot of you guys talk out of your ass. I mean do you even watch boxing? Since when is Carlos Baldomir even a legit contender anymore; he has been dismissed.
Miguel Cotto is ranked # 6 P4P on ESPN and # 4 on Yahoo's P4P. Margarito was beat hands down by Clottey and lost to Paul Williams decisively. Cotto has the upperhand here till Margarito proves himself once more. Miguel cotto has the opportunity to make to some big fights for him self now.
I know alot of you guys are Cotto haters, but please try to post with non-biased judgements.
I don't know any elite fighters that get exposed? So if Cotto beats De La Hoya, or when he beat Mosley or Judah- Mosley and Judah were exposed? When you are an elite fighter like Cotto/Mayweather, you do not get exposed. You just fight the best, meaning anything could happen.
The reason why every is on this bashing Cotto tip, is because he is the only fighter today that provides a challenge to mAyweather. If you are a Mayweather fan, you have got to be questioning why he doesnt want to fight Cotto. If Mayweather is saying he will fight the best, Cotto is the best right now. De La Hoya chose to fight Mayweather for several reason instead of Cotto, thta it why Cotto is stuck with Gomez. All of youi picking Gomez to beat Cotto will just say Gomez sucks, blah blah blah, you guys are idiot. Gomez is nothing but a c/b fighter with no pop. Cotto walks through him on April 12th not giving a crap; it's going to be something like the Quintana fight, expect Gomezs can't run...
All of your post justify your hate towards Cotto. If Cotto isn't a proven boxer, body puncher, versatile fighter to you by now- you should not be watching boxing. If it comes down making fun off the dudes shaving incidents- you desperately need to be enrolled into some kind of child care program, maybe catch up on your motor skills. Your post(s) deserves zero credit if you have some type of "Cotto doing Low Blows" flash, or some type of Mayweather avatar.
PS: This is coming from a Cotto fan that believes Cotto would lose to Mayweather 115-113. This is coming from a Cotto fan that believes Alfonso Gomez is a "good" fighter, and will prove himself on April 12th. See you at the fight.

The Truth is- Margarito still needs Cotto. Is it me or does Margarito seem a little money hungry? There is chance for Margarito to become one of the best welter weights ever by fighting Clottey and Williams, but he wants De La Hoya and Cotto. Cotto deserves much credit after seeing how much of clear size advantage margarito had; the size of the ring was almost bigger than my office cube, then he fights in front of Pro-Mexican croud, yet Cotto still wants to fight him. I am one to beleive that Cotto was no here mentally, and did not come in with a good game plan.
Lets dig deeper: Margarito wants none of P. Williams- the fighter he lost to a year ago. He wants no part of Clottey, after showing he could not put a dent in him almost 2 years back, which to me was a draw.
What it all boils down to is..... Margarito understands he isn't a money maker at the moment, so why risk losing bigger money in the future, to two fighters that have more than a 50% chance in beating him. Lets go after the small "brave" Puerto Rican, that isn't scared of shit, if we lose, it's a big pay day. :thumbsdow
Only fanatics of Cotto like my self know about this. The accident was really bad, Cotto fell asleep on the way to training and crashed. I beleive that is part of the reason he is not 2 handed fighter. He has a titanium rod (which is about 6 inches long I beleive) in his right arm in the proximity of the elbow up to the bicep area, which is weightless. Having an artificial peace like that in his arm could cause a lot of discomfort. Anyways I'm not a medic. Go Cotto. peace.

Remember Cotto's English is backwards at times, though he is improving. I've seen most of these interviews where Cotto says something and the writers make it seem like it was a diss; it really wasn't. I saw the interview when he stated this; it was nothing close to the way you guys make it out to be. lol. Cotto is cool calm and collect. He is actually having some fun during some of these interviews. The only person really talking crap is Jack Mosley, Mosley is just gaurantee'n victory. This is going to be great fight. I'll be there!
