Bob Arum's a Dick Floyd wins hands down, much more interesting fight now knowing Pacman can seriously crack at that weight n seeing how poorly his opponents handle his speed but Pac's still the guy who struggled wit a boxer counterpuncher named MARQUEZ and Floyd has better defense, more power, longer reach, bigger size, faster hands, more intelligence, and an overall better boxer than Marquez is, pac's gotta slim chance but i cant see Floyd losing this one...After Floyd destroys Marquez this is the fight that has to happen, Arum needs to put an end to that Cotto bullshit this fight is the only fight that should be in their mind

I kind of, just kind of liked the idea of this fight. Just cause Khan tends to come in aggressively with with combos and fast hands and he would have put Floyd to work early until Floyd figures his ass out after 2 or 3 rounds and puts him down multiple times or knocks his ass clean out. But hearing this dumb mofo say you gotta beat Floyd at his own game just made me lose all interest in this fight...that's exactly what Canelo tried to do and trust me, Canelo's boxing skills and IQ are on a different level than Khan's and if he had just been more aggressive he could have at least made a more entertaining fight and given himself a punchers chance

JMM is to me, the greatest Mexican fighter of all time, I said that before he knocked Manny out...I obviously still stand by it. He's in the top 40 greatest fighters of all time to me, but I hate those rankings, I honestly think there's about 5-10 fighters that ever lived that are in a league of their own, the next 30 great fighters are all SPECIAL and amazing and there's not much to separate them. I think Floyd, Roy Jones, Pernell Whitaker, Sugar Ray Robinson and Ali are the 5 fighters that to me stand on their own. If there's one of those fighters I'm hesitant to include in there its Ali and only because he didn't train like the rest and if he did he'd be an animal like you never seen before. These guys to me are masters, they are artists, they are special in every way, when you watch them and look at what they have accomplished you know your looking at something special. That by no means is me saying they are unbeatable or w/e but at their best these 5 are better than any fighters I've ever seen

I don't understand what anyone sees in Vasquez...in reality both Vasquez and Burns are pretty bad fighters. Broner is calling Burns out cuz its an easy fight with big money, he can just go to his backyard and rip him apart, he can do the same to Vasquez but who's gonna pay him for that? haha nah I wasn't going to see Floyd but it would be cool to see him at the fight too. Just making the trip from Toronto cuz we never get good fights up here unless its in Montreal and this is a 4 hour drive so far a die hard its worth the trip cuz we usually don't get the chance to make these fights. Yeah the balcony seats won't be far its a small arena but then again sitting ringside for cheap is pretty cool too. Looking forward to the Smith vs Bundrage fight more than the main event to be honest, thats gonna be a good fight. Devon got skills and if he can pick Brook apart it'll be entertaining but I'm telling you, Brook doesn't have the skill and power to just put Devon on blast and I know 2 things about Devon, if its an evenly matched fight, dude's not gonna entertain, he'll hold, be inactive, not do anything exciting or flashy and he won't get hit too much or hurt cuz he's got a chin, or if he's on the short end of the fight then he'll make it the worst fight youve ever seen, I don't see it being a good fight but $50-200 to see a nice card and only a couple hours drive is worth it either way. LOL I thought this said who hits harder at first...Pernell was like a ghost in there but he like to drop his hand on the inside, outside, slip and slide, put himself in the corner and slip and punch his way out...he was a freak at that but he did have fights like the McGirt fight and Hurtado (not really his prime) where he got hit and didn't look so slick. Everyone thinks of RJJ's fight with Griffin like RJJ dominated him twice but ****ed up and hit him while he was down but the reason he hit him when he dropped him was cuz he was frustrated at the fact that Griffin was tagging him and fully in the fight, something RJJ wasn't used to. If I had to pick I'd say RJJ was harder to hit cuz he was longer, faster, hit like a mule so he made u think twice about punching and he used his feet to stay out of range and wasn't as careless. Sweat Pea's skills as a defensive fighter were no doubt better...he was just so good that he liked to **** with guys and gave u more chances. Floyd's considered the best now a days and he deserves it but he gets touched up too and always has...to be real I saw Floyd take more clean shots in some of his punches than I saw BHop take in his whole career during his prime. Bhop doesn't get enough credit for that, he had an iron chin and always kept it tucked and never really got hurt or caught until late in his career. With the exception of that Mercado fight I guess but he was fighting in altitude he wasn't used to and was dead in that fight

Some dirty tactics is just fair play and part of the game, but when Miadana tries to knee him, bites his hand, repeatedly rabbit punches and throws blatant COMBOS to the balls and the ref doesn't "see" it or do anything about it and Floyd's just expected to not react and just keep doing his thing then that's childish. When Hunter says sucker punch he doesn't mean a sucker punch like a guy hit him on the break or some ****, a lot of old school coaches use sucker punch to describe punches that are wild, swinging, loaded up, basically **** that a professional should see coming and never get hit with. And he's right, Khan's got tremendous speed, reach and skill, there's no reason for him to be hit with those kind of shots that he's been stopped with or hurt with before but he does and I think it's a reflex issue perhaps. But he's been so much better since he started training with Virgil and that's cuz Roach was training him to be a KO artist and he's not built that way

Its amazing how much fighting is a sport that is determined by styles a much as talent and skill. Maidana and Khan are easily one of Floyd's weakest opponents when you compare them to guys like Canelo, Cotto, Shane coming off the Margarito win, Oscar etc. but stylistically i think these two guys both create terrible matchups for Floyd. Floyd won 8-4 or 7-5 now that i rewatched the Maidana fight but in a rematch he'll hold and move and shut him out. Hopefully he fights khan after that because can has problems with punchers but he gives slick pot shot kind of fighters problems cuz he throws fast and in combination and the best way to beat him is to punch with him and hurt him but Floyd wouldn't do that. I think Floyd fights to relaxed and let's guys like Maidana and khan work and build points on him. Thats another fight he's really gonna have to work for to earn the win
