Prograis didn't want to wait one more fight for his title **** so he entered the tournament instead...since Prograis doesn't that that much of a fan base the fight needed to be built, but he will make more money in tournament. Prograis team chose not to participate in purse bid...Prograis would have gotten the fight before end of the year but chose tournament instead, so now he has to wait That's false. Arum admitted and is on record stating they didn't want the fight. Regis made the right move and everything a tournament that does a lot more for his career than a fight with Ramirez

Like the first fight he ran and lost 8 rounds to 4? Literally no one had Canelo legitimately even getting a draw in that fight. I like how these idiots always reference to Canelo "running" claiming Triple G won but yet they can never give examples of the rounds he won and why he won them. Triple G Hardly threw any punches and hardly landed anything of significance. What!! This kid just drew almost 14,000 in his hometown of Fresno, CA. Why the hell wouldn't he fight for the title there? Imam is from NY. It's a home fight for him. This makes no sense for Ramirez. It's pretty known and has been said from people in that area that very few people actually pay to go to the Ramirez fight. The tickets are handed out by the thousands and you can find them all over town at grocery stores and restaurants. So it's hard to really tell how much of a real draw he is since no one is really paying to go watch him. with that being said, there's a lot of free things to do on a saturday night and 13k people dont flock somewhere even if it's free unless it's of interest to people. I see this as a very good fight. Imam is long and lanky and much bigger than Ramirez. Ramirez rely's on pressure so it'll be interesting to see if he can get inside on Imam and do some damage and it will be interesting to see if Imam can keep Jose away with his reach. Both fighters come forward and fight. Imam has real power where ramirez is mostly a volume puncher. It's a pick em fight for me.

It seems Prograis doesn't understand how mandatories work. He had no choice but to fight you next the WBC even came out after his fight and said so. Ramirez fought guys with much better records coming up then most these other guys. Top Rank has tried to make several fights with guys with multi world titles and they didn't want to fight Ramirez. Let's just call it what it is. Ramirez is a fighter on the wrong side of 25 and in his physical peak. He'd been a pro for 6/7 years and this is where he is at. He's an average fighter who they manipulated to become a champion. They don't want him exposed by putting in the ring with as real that. Just call it for what it is and move on from the guy
