Obviously you only have 69 posts so you could be trolling here, but Povetkin is much more proven in those areas than Wilder is.
He has stopped several opponents who were known to be durable at the top level, and he went the distance with Wlad despite being battered from pillar to post.
The problem with Povetkin is that he only has one specific range that he likes to fight at (mid range), and he doesnt really do much else. I reckon Wilder will be focussed on staying behind the jab and keeping it long for the majority of the fight, and smothering if it gets too close.
If Pov can consistently get inside Wilders reach, and avoid being smothered, then I think he will stop him.
So you think Povetkin punches harder than Wilder? I'm not disputing that Wilder has the worst chin but Povetkin got dropped by Klitshcko about 15 times, hes hardly got an iron chin himself.
the Joshua-Haye or Joshua-Fury fights would be absolutely massive here, at least 1 million buys, the whole country would be sucked in to those fights, Haye is very well known and Fury's pre fight yapping would get everyone hooked, especially as Joshua would be seen as the 'good guy'.
We already knew that. Your purpose fort making this thread is so you can say Povetkin isn't that good so Wilder beating him means nothing. But if Wilder loses you can say he got beat by a guy that wasn't very good.
Im English, i really dont care about Wilder or Povetkin - I don't have an agenda against either, i just don't think either of them are brilliant boxers. Idiot.
I don't do fantasy rounds.
You don't even know anything about Manny or Floyd's skill-sets.
That whole thing you wrote was nothing but, "This is what I WANT TO HAPPEN," not actually discussing how they may use their skills to gain an advantage or neutralize a component of their opponents game.
I mean, they fought a year ago. I would of thought you would have at least.......................... forget it.
I've got my own boxing gym ive forgot more about boxing than you will ever know!
Its not hard , grab a bit of paper write the number on it hold it up and take the pic .
or you could just pick one of these :)

Dead realistic them...
I will play hot tub fantasy fights , Floyd schools the mortal fck out of him .
Nope, The younger more fearless and aggressive version of manny would be throwing too many combinations from too many different angles for floyd to simply slip and pot-shot him all night long. he'd back floyd up and unload, too quick!
No, I know that.
This guy said Floyd would be jabbing to body, you know sustained punches to the body, not looking to set up his quick left hook or get a opening for his straight right................ just body shots.................. Floyd Mayweather doing that.
No, i said he'd be landing his jab to the body, not throwing a jab to the body over and over again one after the other. he would be using it to keep pac at bay and to score clean punches, he would be throwing a lot of straight right hands and making pacquiao miss, but would be overwhelmed with pacquiao's speed and awkward angels
He is obviously technically better than Wilder, which isn't excatly hard. But Wilder punches a lot harder than Povetkin and lets not forget one thing, Wilder ain't the only chinny fighter in there. Wilder will be too big and too powerful for Pov, i expect Wilder to look pretty poor for the first few rounds boxing on the back foot, but then will land a big bomb, similar to the Spilka fight, i will be placing big money on a Wilder stoppage.
WTF is this? So many inconsistencies.
1. What Floyd have you just described, because that is NOT how Floyd would box in his prime. Jab? Floyd rarely, if ever, leads of with jabs. He uses the body post shot and straight right to measure distance as opposed to using the jab. The last time I saw ever really use a jab consistently was in the later rounds against Hatton.
2. Jabs to the body? Again, what Floyd is doing this? Wat Floyd has ever had a an sustained attack which consisted of him jabbing to the body? Name me this fight that he did this in?
3. So let me get this straight; Floyd is landing his straight right flush and Manny is just walking through it and taking them as they come with no adjustment? Ok then..................
4. All you have Pacquiao doing is apparently backing Floyd up (LOL) while continually getting tagged with straight rights. By Floyd. In his Prime. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
5.
I had to highlight this because this is just shocking.
6. So, during the early stages of the fight, after YOU just had Floyd beating Manny to the punch with his timing and speed (landing his straight right), Manny just becomes faster than Floyd and complete ignores Floyds timing because he threw some combinations and Floyd can not adjust?
I'm stopping here. That was laughable. You didn't even mention anything about Manny trying to set his right hook, measure the distance with his straight left or using his exceptional ability to throw punches at awkward angles.
All you wrote was combinations and punches in bunches.
...................... and this was Floyd in his prime...............?
lets see yours then, easy to criticize others isn't it?
Are you surprised?
The British media here once compared him to Ali (skill wise) because he was shadow boxing underwater.
He is a very good fighter.
Fights i make him underdog in are Fury and Klit
Ortiz, Wilder, Joshua are all 50/50
he knocks Povetkin out
This topic has been debated to death. New users shouldn't be allowed to create threads until they've learned how to use the search function, posted a few replies and familiarised themselves with the forum. Honestly, you'd think this site was set up yesterday with the amount of Manny vs Pacquiao threads. It's stale and boring now.
Nobody is forcing you to read the thread!
Haye was the unified cruiserweight champion and then schooled the largest heavyweight in history and managed to KO many natural heavyweights. He has done more and looked better than the majority of heavyweights since the Holyfield/Tyson/Lewis age.
Can Haye beat Liston? That's a tough one but I'd give him a heck of a chance due to his height, reach and speed advantage. Not to mention he carries some serious firepower himself.
I'd still edge Liston simply because of is superior jab and punch power.
A sensible post. Haye wins majority of the early rounds as he boxes around liston using a lightening fast jab, and if he lands flush that hayemaker he troubles liston. Liston gets him out of there eventually but Haye is an underrated H2H fighter
Haye gets so much credit for potential and what he "could have" done. What the fk has the guy actually accomplished? He had his chance to seize the glory and he turned out to be an egg-laying chicken. Fk him. I'm waiting for him to actually do something beyond this embarrassing "Haye Day" can crushing.
He will beat Joshua
No chance.
He loses to Golovkin badly, he loses a rematch to Eubank, he loses to Canelo when he moves up...
We'll see. Saunders beats eubank more convincingly second time around, i would pick him to beat Canelo and hes the only one in my book who can trouble GGG. Hes a talented boy
Those were examples. Just give your opinion right off the bat in the title, in a short version. I almost went to sleep reading your threads started. I'm just trying to help since it bothered you enough that you made a thread complaining about it. Everyone else is insulting you and telling you to stop crying, I actually gave you advice.
You called me an attention grabber and told me my threads nearly sent you to sleep with boredom, i apologize for not falling at your feet with gratitude for your wonderful advice.
