You guys have to admit that Paulie is a great boxer...let's be serious. Re watch the Prescott fight. Kahn was overwhelmed and got destroyed. Those of you who think Paulie does not have a shot are silly. Paulie's skills are unquestionable. The guy can flat out box...he is silly in the ring, but he can box. It is too bad he has no power, because he would be up there with Floyd if he hit harder. He gets in and out so well and his handspeed is top notch. I have watched Amir and he looks good, but he dodged Maidana. He is scared of him. Let's see what Amir can do in the US and if Freddie Roach continues to created legends. I think the fight goes the distance and is closer than everyone thinks.
Tough one.
Calzaghe wins this one for me and I am Puerto Rican. Trinidad is a warrior and will go down in history, but he tainted his legacy with his terrible come backs. I went to the Jones v. Trinidad fight and actually witnessed the beat down.
Calzaghe destroyed Roy. The win over Kessler was a great one. Kessler is a top talent and that was an amazing display by Joe. Joe beat Bika, Lacy when he was undefeated and beat a lot of other great fighters.
Calzaghe...but Trinidad was a beast!
Wow! Nice picks! You are on the money with all of them. I think Amir Kahn, Guillermo Rigondeaux and Devon Alexander should be on that list. Of course Kahn and Alexander have to get passed their next fights. I also think Tavoris Cloud will be on to watch and it would be interesting to see how Lucian Bute and Jean Pascal do going forward. Cloud v. Dawson would be and interesting fight....Oh, and Sergio Martinez and Paul Williams are up there on my list.
