On the undercard of Juan Manuel Lopez-Steven Luevano at Madison Square Garden in New York City, middleweight contender John Duddy (28-1, 18 KOs) stopped Juan Astorga (14-4-1, 9 KOs) in the first round.

Junior middleweight Pawel Wolak (26-1, 17 KOs) won a decision over Ishmail Arvin (15-2-4, 7 KOs). The score were 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73.

Junior welterweight Chris Algieri (10-0, 5 KOs) won a six round decision over James Hope (4-4, 4 KOs). The scores were 59-55 across the board.

Jorge Diaz (11-0, 7 KOs) stopped Tommy Atencio (4-4, 2 KOs) in the first round of a bantamweight contest.

Light heavyweight prospect Will Rosinsky (10-0, 6 KOs) decisioned Markas Gonzales (7-3, 4 KOs) over four rounds.

Tommy Rainone (12-3, 3 KOs), won a four round decision over Gerardo Prieto (6-8-1, 0 KOs).

Hot cruiserweight prospect Carlos Negron (7-0, 5 KOs) decisioned Garrett Wilson (7-3, 2 KOs) over six rounds. Negron won all six rounds on all three judges cards.
