The Texas State Athletic Commission deserves credit for the Fight
Chavez haters will always come up with sorry excuses to donwplay his success. There is a witchhunt by some writers and fighter that hate his success because he was given great opportunities because of his name. But atleast he as taken full advantage of those opportunies.
Where the hell is Ronal Herns, Hector Camacho Jr., Dyah Davis, Aaron Pryor Jr, Jorge Paez Jr. and so on? All of them have HOF last names, but they are average fighters that couldnt hold JRs jockstrap.
You can keep hoping, thinking, or even wishing for JR to get caught cheating, but untill that happens Ill keep enjoying his VERY FREINDLY fights. Like any good boxing fan
He is too young and unfortunate not mature enought. Golden boy will rebuild him slowly and he will give use alot of entertaining fighter, win or lose.
Ortiz can still be elite but he needs to hook up with Nacho Beristain, The guy has very little defense and lacks combinations. I think Nacho could turn him into a beast and make him tougher. His current trainer is just along for the ride. He only trains part time and ortiz is his only fighter. He just gets by because ortiz is such a good athlete, but very flawed
Last time it was brought up It was stated that some trainers like to have their fighters jab high because as fatigue sets in, a fighter jabs tend to get lazy and go lower and lower. But who the hell knows to be honest.
